Hotels Near New World Department Store (Chongwen Store) in Beijing

Facilities: Very good, very complete, the service attitude is also very good, the front desk is also very enthusiastic! Highly recommended

The room decoration is very new, the bath and the toilet are separated, I like this very much, each bed is not small, sleep is comfortable, it is very convenient to go to the subway station for a few minutes to go to the attractions, the hotel is very good value for money 👍👍👍

The sense of technology is quite good. I would like to give it a good review and a thumbs up. After all, this is a hotel that was renovated this year. I have a good experience with the electric curtains. I will come back next time and give it a thumbs up! !

Staff- Special thanks to reception staff, Ms Han, who is ever so helpful and understanding to all our individual needs. Thank you for your advice on our itinerary and all of our requests. Also thanks to cleaning staff, Aunty Tang, who is always so cheerful and warm. Room- Family room with 3 single beds. Clean,warm and quiet. Provided air humidifiers for all rooms n sleeping in it is so much more comfortable. Location- in between 2 hotels as shown in pic. About 5 to 10 minutes walk to Beijing Station for both speed rail and metro station. Lots of eateries nearby, convenience shop just outside the hotel. Highly recommended. We will stay here again on our next visit :)

I recently stayed at UrCove by HYATT Beijing Forbidden City and had a mixed experience. The hotel's location is excellent, especially if you plan to visit the Forbidden City and the Palace Museum, which are just a 5-minute walk away. This proximity made it very convenient for sightseeing. However, the hotel itself feels a bit dated. The rooms are small and old, though they are kept clean. The building could definitely use some modernization to enhance the overall comfort of the stay. One downside is the constant traffic noise. The hotel is located on a busy road, and the car sounds are noticeable, partly because the window glass does not provide good noise insulation. Additionally, there are some shops under the hotel with people often chatting loudly outside, which can be a bit disruptive. On the positive side, the breakfast was good, offering a nice variety of options to start the day. The service was also commendable, with staff being attentive and helpful throughout my stay. In summary, UrCove by HYATT Beijing Forbidden City is a good choice for its prime location near major attractions. However, be prepared for some noise and an older room. The good breakfast and service help balance out the experience.

When I first walked through the doors of this beautiful hotel…I was shocked. It was like walking through heaven! The staff were so helpful in taking my suitcases, bringing them to my room, and helping me check-in smoothly. I was a little hesitant about not being able to have my room ready since I was checking in at 10am but they were so nice in making sure I had a room and they made this happen through upgrading my friend and I to a larger room! Not only did this make the stay even more enjoyable but the breakfast and pool were also amazing! My pool is huge and clean, but you must wear a swimming cap which they can give you at the front desk before you enter the pool! The pool closes at 11pm which is amazing if you’re a late night swimmer! Breakfast, on the second floor, definitely did not disappoint me as they had a great variety of western and Chinese breakfast. From hash browns, to bacon, to pastries, to fruits! You can definitely get full with this breakfast! I will definitely be coming again in the near future!

I was traveling alone with my child and wanted to go to Tiananmen Square to watch the flag-lowering ceremony, so I booked a hotel close to the hotel. There are many delicious foods in Dashilan. When checking in, Miss Xyu was very enthusiastic. She gave the child a mosquito repellent bracelet and took the initiative to upgrade us to a room with windows. The room was not big, but the bedding and utensils were very clean. It was not hot to turn off the air conditioner at night when it was hot outside. There were no mosquitoes to bother us, and we had a very good rest.

Front desk Carina, Zoey, Tina are all nice and helpful. Tom from the concierge provided prompt assistance. The room is neat and tidy. The Forbidden City can be viewed at our room. The breakfast is delicious. We all have a pleasant stay. Assure that we will stay at this hotel again
