Hotels Near Junwangfu Sports Center in Beijing

We arrived and they already had our booking confirmation ready, We were greeted by friendly staff and booked in quite quickly as booking in foreigners is so much paperwork. The hotel is really the most beautiful authentic Chinese hotel I have been at. We had to look for it first as it is a bit hidden the staff around the hotel was so friendly the security took us right to the reception area. The scenic area around the hotel are well maintained and really calming after a day out in the buzzing Beijing coming back to the hotel is really a good feeling. The only thing was there was no fridge in the room, so could not keep our water and drinks cold as it was really hot out there.

The location is between the two subway stations of East Third Ring Road and East Fourth Ring Road, which are about 500 meters away on foot, but it is on the main road, so it is quite convenient. It takes ten minutes to push a large suitcase, but it is very easy to push a small suitcase. The breakfast on the first floor is also good, with 2-3 choices of noodles, rice and fried vegetables, milk and soy milk, both Chinese and Western. There are residential areas, farmers' markets and supermarkets when you walk southwest from the hotel (Tuanjiehu Park). The hotel has three floors in total. The window of my two-story double bed room faces the internal patio. The air in the room and the bathroom is quite clean and odorless. The room is not big, but you can walk with two suitcases, and the network is unobstructed. The bathroom is not small, with a basin, toilet and shower room side by side, but there is a little water seepage at the bottom of the sliding door of the shower room, which needs to be repaired. Thanks to the cleaning lady for bringing the floor mat in time to alleviate the water leakage. The hotel front desk is enthusiastic and can borrow an umbrella. There are shared bicycles on the main road. Moreover, it is only 2 kilometers away from Sanlitun Taikoo Li. I went there twice and was generally satisfied.

We stay at hanting many time we vusited china Overall ok and we like to stay in this hotel chain, but all the front desk staff couldn't speak english, so we had a hard time communicating. We had a bad experience when we stayed , one of the front desk (ms.lie fang fang) very harshly talked to my daughter while my daughter asked her how to take our package. When I reprimanded her, her say sorry and tried to give us a complimentary breakfast voucher and some coffee....we rejected it...because we don't need complimentary things like that we need her Hospitality like other Hanting hotel front desks we meet. The others very helpful.

Room is quite tiny but it’s alright. The room has a smart system; so lights and curtains can be turned off via voice control. You can also request for items via voice control, and it’ll be sent up by a bot. Food deliveries are dropped off at the hotel lobby. For parcel deliveries you’ll have to give reception your phone number (that is stated on the postage sticker on your parcel), and they will retrieve it for you. The hotel provides 2 bottles of water a day for free… but if you need more you can ask. Basement has a gym and laundry area. The hotel provides free detergent; you’ll have to ask reception for it— just don’t be an inconsiderate person that hogs the washing machines for more than 1 normal wash cycle (I saw someone turn on a 4 hour wash). In the lobby there’s a microwave so it’s great if you have food that need to be warmed up. The hotel is about 15 minutes away from the nearest metro station. There’s food eateries and convenience stores nearby. Next to the hotel there’s a bar but I don’t recommend eating there; the food isn’t good. WiFi connection isn’t high-speed (at least from my room), but it’s okay. There’s a very lovey coffee place (that operates as a bar at night) named DAO that’s 5 minutes away. Hotel employees were lovely and helpful. The aunties that do housekeeping were friendly and caring. Overall it’s a great stay.

Our original plan was to stay for 3 nights, but there was a change of plans hence we brought forward our stay for another 2 nights, making it a total of 5 nights. The location of the hotel was good, within 10mins walk to hujiaolou metro station. Bed was comfy but the room was very small. As mentioned in my earlier review, we had booked Guestroom (Double) but it seemed that we were being downgraded to a Superior room instead, looking at the room layout. Moreover, the initial downgraded room that was given to us had a missing toilet door, and after we feedback to the receptionist, we were then told that they had forgotten to inform us of the missing door. Was appalled by their reply, and why would they even assign a hotel room that is not ready for use? When checking out, there was another local guest who complained to the reception about the small rooms which did not resemble the photos on the website at all. I for one, would definitely not return to this Atour hotel again.

The room overall is okay. It's very close to the subway entrance and very convenient. But getting up in the early morning to rush to Tiananmen to watch the flag-raising ceremony and riding a shared bicycle is not a good experience. It's so dark at night and there are no street lights. You can only see the light when you ride out of the residential area.

This is the 2nd Ritz Carlton i stayed in Beijing for the trip Family of 3, infant of 7 months old - for 2 days The design and thoughts put into the building is definitely worthy of a Ritz. Classy and solid build In my view, the service we received was less than expected of a Ritz. It could be contributed to the fact that this is right in town centre and the occupancy is high There was no introduction of the facilities of this branch and the staffs at the door looks inexperienced / untrained while they watched upon me getting my luggages out of the taxi and leaving them at the driveway while i set up the baby pram Besides the service, the hotel is great, location fantastic, facilities are well maintained
