Great Stay – Comfortable, Quiet, and Helpful Staff I stayed at this hotel for a week and had a great experience. While it’s not the newest or most luxurious place, it was exactly what I expected—good value for money, quiet, and perfect for resting after long days exploring Beijing (and recovering from jetlag!). The location is decent, with subway lines 2 and 8 within a 15–20 minute walk, depending on your pace. It’s also not too far from the Drum and Bell Towers, making it convenient for sightseeing. The staff were exceptionally nice and patient. Although they spoke little to no English, they went out of their way to help, using a translator when needed. They even assisted me with booking my Tiananmen Square visit through the WeChat mini app, which was much appreciated. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely return!

Service was amazing! They were very friendly. The room; however, was not good. The beds were very hard. There were food crumbs on the night stand. The shower was grubby. The paint was coming off the bathroom door. The bathroom lock was broken. The towels weee very thin and worn.
Location was good. A short bike ride to the drum tower and the Hutongs.

Bathroom was a bit awkward and old. But for this price it was the best option in the city. We are quite happy with a stay.

The thing we liked the most was the service provided by the recepcionists. Allí of them were very helpful and nice all the time, and helped us through the hardships we had with the different Chinese apps and the language barrier.

Service was too good. Staffs were super friendly and they cordially received me. Though they don't understand English but they tried to answer all my queries with the help of mobile translator. They upgraded my room from Basic Standard Room to Superior Standard Room. Breakfast was also good with many items. All are chinese items but it was okay. Only thing i would say is the location is bit inside but its quite & calm. I would definitely love to stay there whenever i will visit Beijing again.

Older hotel but nice. Sits off the street about 50 meters. Located close to Subway (15 minutes of walking) in a quiet, tree lined residential neighborhood.

The staff at the hotel are great! They tried their best to make my stay comfortable.
Room was comfortable, but the renovation is old.
Breakfast was delicious.
