Great hotel. me and my kids love it. room are clean spacious. if come Wtown must stay this hotel. we love the breakfast lot of variety choice.

We absolutely love this place Celin and the staff are so helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The pools are clean and nice and warm. The breakfast is also great. There is so much to do in the town and of course the Simatai Section of the Great Wall is a must see.

♡ A Magical Experience ♡ We had an incredible stay at the Beijing Wtown Resort (古北之光度假酒店), a luxurious property nestled in the scenic Gubei Water Town. The hotel’s unique W-shaped design added a modern yet elegant charm to the resort. The property was impeccably spotless, spacious, and offered 5-star service throughout our visit. Our room was a highlight, offering a direct view of the Great Wall of China—a breathtaking sight that made waking up each morning truly unforgettable. Another standout feature was the free access to the nearby hot spring, conveniently located just steps from the hotel. It was the perfect way to unwind and relax after exploring the town. The staff at the hotel were outstanding, and a special mention must go to Ms. Yang LiJun (杨利君小姐), who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. She assisted us with every aspect of our visit, from ensuring our accommodations were perfectly arranged to organizing a memorable Christmas Eve dining experience. Ms. Yang even went out of her way to help with our transportation back to Beijing City, which was particularly thoughtful given the distance from Gubei Town. Her warm hospitality, attention to detail, and professionalism truly stood out, leaving us with a lasting impression of her exceptional service. In summary, the Beijing Wtown Resort exceeded all expectations with its stunning design, luxurious amenities, and dedicated staff. We are deeply grateful to Ms. Yang for her efforts in making our stay truly special. This resort is a gem, and we look forward to returning in the future.

great coffee machine toilet door is broken the bathroom door is transparent, inconvenient to share toilet the second level bed area is very hot in winter, COOL air condition cannot be turn on daily add water bottle have drinking water available

Gubei water town is the best...our hotel room 7005 is the best room with the best view of Simatai Great Wall

Hotel decor feels oriental and traditional. Just a short walk into the Gubei town to watch the drone show at night. Clean and big rooms, breakfast spread was great too.
