The hotel is beautiful and located in the hutongs, which is definitely a plus if you want to experience some "hutong life". The location is also really good, since it is not far away from the subway (10 min walk) and the city center. However, consider that the rooms are veeeery small, to the point where it can actually be annoying - though it is stated when you book, so watch carefully. What was really annoying for us was that our room had a tiny window on the wall facing the bed, which was at least at 3-3.5 meters high (so unreachable) and which had no curtains, so the light was coming through and waking you up at 6 am.

I had a wonderful four-day stay in the Jingman hutong hotel. It's quite conveniently located if you use public transport, but also moving around by rental bike is quite easy. The staff was super friendly, attentive and they even gave me a room upgrade! The room was nice and well equipped. They could have been a little cleaner but that was really just a minor thing.

Nice budget hotel. Nice staff. Tucked away in a very traditional hutong street. I mark down as it should be clearer how small the room is and also the bedding being changed would be great, bit of dirt in bathroom when I checked in, only got new towels daily which was great of course. Loved the baby kitten at reception.

What a special place! the hotel is small and the rooms are kooky. You are definitely in the Hutongs! We loved the location. Our room was perfect for a mom and two adult kids - the upper sleeping loft gave us all the privacy we needed. My only downside was I think related to when we were there - over labor day weekend. The hotel does not have maid service in a traditional way. We did not have daily service and when we did they just gave us water (thanks!) and fresh towels, but the sink wasn't wiped down or the beds made. Not a deal breaker and I would go back there, but just want moms like me to know what to expect.

Excellent budget hotel in a nice Hutong. Close to subway. Clean. Good service. Coffee in the attached coffee shop is excellent.

The stuff is sweet. The location is more local than other more touristy Hutong areas. The room was very comfortable and had everything that one needs.
