Was told when I arrived that they were overbooked and I would have to stay in their sister hostel. They were very apologetic, and the sister hostel was nice, if not a bit far from where I had booked to be, but errors like this shouldn't happen and are disappointing.

Highly recommend for a budget trip, Great location, right in the famous Nanluoguxiang and metro station is just 2 minutes walk to. Room is cozy and quiet. Staffs are friendly. There is a coffee and bistro shop at the first floor which offer customers nice coffee.

Check in was simple, easy, and quick. Staff was incredibly friendly, and the cleaning lady was amicable as well. I would 100% come back. Thank you for having us!

Very good hostel. The hostel is beautiful, has a café and a terrace and the rooms are cosy. Some would find it a little old but it's part of the charm. The location is ideal and the staff charming. I loved it.

The hospital was in a perfect location it was three minute walk from the Metro. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have laundry service. There's nice Western style restaurant. If you're interested in local cuisine, there is so many places to eat right outside. I definitely would recommend this place for anyone that comes to Beijing.

On my last day at Peking Youth International Hostel, I left my luggage at the reception after checkout and picked it up in the evening—super convenient! I want to give a big thank you to the lovely room cleaner sister again. My friends accidentally dirtied the bedsheet, but she kindly cleaned it without any extra charge. Her helpfulness and kindness really stood out. I’ll definitely stay here again if I visit Beijing in the future!

I had the pleasure of staying at Peking Youth Hostel, in the characteristic and charming Nan Luo Gu Xiang street in the center of Beijing and I was really satisfied. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the city. The property is welcoming and clean, with spacious and simple but well furnished rooms! Furthermore, the staff was extremely kind and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Special thanks to Zhousongsong who was fundamental for my stay and always ready to support me for every need and to aunt Zhang for taking care of the spaces and her helpfulness. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to visit Beijing and stay in a hostel in a central area with excellent staff. A more than positive experience!

A very nice hostel with cozy common areas with many couches. It is in the same building as a nice cafe, and there are many international travelers staying here. good amenities with water, kettles, and toiletries provided, adjustable HVAC.

This was my only hostel stay on my travels, and I'm glad for it, only because the mattress was like sleeping on the ground; awful. The location is really good, the room/bathroom fairly clean given other hostels I've stayed in. Guests were noise conscious, even though located within the Hutongs, there wasn't much outside noise. The public areas were comfortable and I preferred lounging there than in the room. The attached Cafe was particularly charming and I spent a long, enjoyable afternoon on the roof one day. I'd stay again, easy, if the mattress was better.

The location of the hostel is central, but in a very busy crowded street. So if you like that, the location is good and you can get anywhere fast by metro. Otherwise, besides that the hostel is in a nice old Hutong house, the facilities are very old and DIRTY! For the whole hostel the bathrooms get cleaned only once per day... which is not enough and many times you could see **** from other people in the two toilets available for the shared rooms. In the showers is a lot of mold. The wall next to my bed was with a lot of stains and the floor was very dirty... On the last day at 7.30 am a huge group of tourists arrived in order to use the already dirty shower and toilet and made party in the hall in front of the hostel rooms where everyone was sleeping on a sunday morning. I dont know how a hostel can allow that as the place already lacks number of showers and toilets that are cleaned regularly...

this is a really great hostel! the location is amazing, and for beijing prices, it’s really good value for money. the front desk speak english, which is a plus. if you’re travelling alone, there’s a nice mix of foreigners and chinese, and i met some great people during my 5 days staying here. highly recommend!
