The hotel has all you need, but the location is a bit of a hassle. All coffee shops, tourist destinations and nice restaurants are all more than 1km away. If you don’t mind the walk, then it is fine. It is a nice break away from the noise of the town though, it is quiet and the hot spring serves as a nice treat after a long days walk on the wall.

One of the few places that was very disappointing, the price of the family room with hot spring bath rose to 1600/night during the May Day holiday, but I couldn't experience any basic services at all
It was quite unexpected that the room with hot spring bath didn't have bath bags (need to be purchased by yourself), and I suggest that the merchant write it clearly on the business details page to avoid wrong expectations. When purchasing, I asked the front desk lady the difference between bath bags, but she didn't know anything, but she was indeed very sensitive to the price. (By the way, the price of bath bags written on the wall of the hotel is cheaper than the price sold by the merchant, which is a bit confusing)
Basic hygiene needs to be done well, for example, there was syrup splashed by previous guests on the ground (not cleaned), blood on the bed curtains (not cleaned), the hot spring bath looked good, but it was gray water after cleaning before use, and the towels were not clean

You need to swipe the room card to enter. Overall, it is good, but it would be better if the check-out time the next day was more flexible. Although the hotel gave us a half-hour delay through communication, I still hope that the store will give a certain extension of the check-out time to friends who come to Huairou to participate in activities in the future.

If you are visiting Yanqi Lake and don't care about the quality of accommodation, you can choose this place. The beds here are a bit hard, but the basic sanitary conditions are still met. Basically, you can play outside during the day and then come back to the hotel to sleep. It depends on your needs.
