Hanting Hotel (Beijing Wangfujing pedestrian street store)

Location of the hotel is very strategic, the staffs were kind, hotel facilities are nice. The room was very comfortable eventhough it's a bit small, but clean & we're hapoy to stay there

[2nd review since I booked 2 rooms] Comparing both rooms booked, both rooms were consistently clean and had all required amenities (e.g. shampoo, body wash, hairdryer etc). Although small, it was sufficient for one person and the bed was definitely wide enough :) Location is convenient (5 mins walk away), and will definitely consider staying again if I am in Beijing.

There are no shops or restaurants in the immediate vicinity so you need to leave the area for everything. Thankfully the National Art Museum subway station was only a few hundred metres away. The room itself is fine: clean and comfortable. I think that the staff need better briefing on entry requirements for foreigners. As an Australian I did not require a visa because was staying in China for 15 days or less so only had the entry stamp in my passport. The staff initially did not understand or accept this, causing me a great deal of worry considering I had stayed in different hotels across China without problems before coming to this one. While there was ultimately nothing wrong with the hotel, the location was frustrating as although you are in central Beijing you are actually far from everything you want/need. 3.7/5 stars is my rating.
