Jingshan Garden Hotel Reviews

An intimate boutique hotel located in a typical Beijing courtyard house in a traditional alley ( hutong). Full of atmosphere with traditionally styled wooden structures, a lovely garden and many stone statues dotted around the place. Everything was done in elegant good taste, the room was big and comfy and the bathroom was modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful to advise us about what to see and where to eat. We even got 3 rounds of welcoming fruit basket during our nine nights of stay, a lovely surprise! We ate in their restaurant most nights and the food was delicious and prepared with loving care, like everything else in this hotel. We would definitely be staying in this hotel again in next Beijing visit, especially for its excellent location, being of walkable distance to many famous sights in Beijing. All in all, we recommend this hotel highly to all visitors.

Really nice hotel in a lovely area

Nice hotel with small courtyard. Breakfast was good. First morning we left before the breakfast time, we got a nice breakfast to go with us. Service is good, very nice staff.

Overall it was a great and unique stay! The hotel was nestled inside a Hutong so to take a taxi would require a short walk (2-3mins) to the main street. It is located right next to Jingshan Park so we managed to visit it on the very first day despite the tight schedule. The receptionist was very good and helpful. Breakfast was great and served hot individually to your table. The room was clean and spacious. I stayed in this hotel during my birthday and they prepared a small cake and a handwritten card. Thank you very much!

Charming hotel with very good breakfast. Staff were helpful. Our room was very noisy so we left early and hotel refunded us without our asking. Well worth a visit but ask for a quiet room!

Excellent location for exploring old Beijing. Good food and large breakfast Rooms are clean, nice and warm in winter. Great and friendly staff.

Service at reception was okay. But the breakfast was very poor quality and misleading. It was very expensive and the goods were not freshly baked as described the portions small. Additionally there were no people around to serve. I had to go to the kitchen to find someone.

This hotel is really beautiful. Worker are nice and helpful. Room is nice with a very good bed . Location are good 2 minutes walking far from jingshan garden and 20~30 min far from the entry of the forbidden city by walking.

Not bad but the location is quite inaccessible

A lovely little gem in the Hutongs and perfect for a Staycation or sunrise visit of the forbidden city. The staff is lovely and very welcoming. Food in the restaurant is great. Breakfast was so so and the rooms are good. It’s the location, the tranquility and the staff that makes this place a true gem.
