The location of the hotel is perfect, only 5 minutes walk from Jingshan park, 20 minutes walk from The palace museum. Unfortunately hotel was not clean as seemed. We found a dead cockroach.

clean linen and towels every day. quiet excellent service. close to tianenmen, bus and metros. clean cool hotel newly renovated. historical architecture. great value for the money.

We stayed there for a couple nights. The room was ok. The service is very polite and they try to help as much as they can considering the idiom barrier. Although it is close to the Forbidden City, it is around 10 min walking from the closest metro station. There are a lot of restaurants nearby the hotel. There are also a lot of things to do in the surroundings.

The location is great. You can go jogging or walking at the  Jingshan Park which is like five minutes away by walk.
The staff is kind other they don’t really speak English, but I would say that’s the beauty of traveling as an alien.
One thing that bothered me even more than all the noise coming from other rooms doors, and the clicking sound of the emergency exit door was the smell of cigarette that keeps coming into my room through a bathroom. I talked about this to the staff. He said that the whole hotel is non-smoking but still he didn’t say anything to Chinese folks smoking in the lobby.

The hotel was nice and convenient. The receptionist can speak English. They are very friendly and helpful.

Good environment quiet location lots of places to eat within walking distance. Close to lots of attractions if you can walk you can walk to a lots of royal gardens

Solid hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, very friendly staff. The breakfast, however, only consisted of one small bag of bread and small other things, not much for a price of around 15€ a day. But if you don't book the breakfast, you can have a good time here.
