It looks like it has been converted into a B&B. Coming from Beijing by train, exit the "Badaling Great Wall Station". There is a road outside the station. Go to the left and turn left again. You will see the maroon signboard of Dreaming Back to the Great Wall (this location is also the entrance to the Great Wall. Go up and pass through the "North Gate Lock and Key" gate to check the tickets for the entrance to the city. There is also a free shuttle bus at this location with the blue "Badaling Cultural Tourism" written on it. Don't miss the bus. However, this bus has a time point and does not necessarily go to the Chaxi parking lot. Ask the staff first. There was no bus when I came late, but there was a bus the next day after climbing the Great Wall). When you walk there, turn right at this location and follow the road. It is a wide road. The navigation is accurate. Just follow the navigation and it will take about 20 minutes (on the way, you will pass the "Badaling Station" which is said to be the station of the S2 line of the suburban railway). To get to the village, you need to cross the railway road to the opposite parking lot and continue forward. Enter a city gate and walk forward. There are tables and chairs in the entrance hall, which is convenient for eating. The courtyard is very clean. The boss grows flowers and plants. There are small decorations everywhere, which are quite interesting. You can go up to the roof and there are tables and chairs. The economic king-size bed room I booked is on the lower half of the stairs. It is consistent with the description and pictures. The room is quite large and clean, the bed is also quite large, the windows can be opened for ventilation, there is no peculiar smell, there is a mirror for ladies to dress up, there is a bucket under the pump water boiler for drinking water, and there is an induction night light on the side of the bed, which is really thoughtful. It’s nice to take a hot bath after sweating after climbing the Great Wall. The overall environment is very clean and basically everything you need is available. The boss is still afraid that some people may not be taken care of, so he asked us to add WeChat to contact you at any time. The response is timely. You can also ask the boss how to go to a certain place. The boss is happy to answer. The cleaning lady also gave us bottled water. Good reviews. The breakfast coupons given are from the breakfast shop next door. They are daily meals of steamed buns, fried dough sticks, eggs, and millet porridge. The meals are served quickly and conveniently. It is good to go to the Great Wall after eating. Going to the Great Wall, there may be a free shuttle bus from the nearby Chaxi parking lot during the May Day holiday. It is the blue bus with "Badaling Cultural Tourism" written on it to the Great Wall. I don't know if there is one at other times. You can ask the boss for help. If there is no shuttle bus, just walk along the way you came. I only went to the first to twelfth floors of the north slope of the Great Wall. There were not many people on the last day of the holiday. I rested as I climbed and there were empty seats everywhere. It took three hours to walk slowly, and two hours might be enough for a full effort. I sat down on the twelfth floor to eat something, and stayed for an hour to enjoy the beautiful scenery. I returned to the eleventh floor and went out from the city gate. I followed the crowd and walked around along the main road. I saw the "Juyongwai Town" city gate and returned to the city gate. I went back to rest in the afternoon. The itinerary was very relaxed. In addition, you must bring water when climbing the Great Wall, otherwise you will be thirsty. There are free luggage storage and toilets on the Great Wall Pedestrian Street. There are also toilets on the Great Wall. If you don't bring many children, you can check in advance which enemy tower is in. The high-speed train to Beijing still goes to the "Badaling Great Wall Station". You must leave time to leave early and don't panic. It seems that the ticket checking will be stopped more than ten minutes in advance, because the ticket gate is far away from the train. There is a flat road between the two escalators. The escalator is a bit upright. If you have luggage and children and the elderly, you can choose to take the vertical escalator.
