Hi Inn (Beijing Tiananmen National Grand Theater) Reviews

We booked the hotel based on the pictures and good ratings. When we arrived the reception was a mess but i thought of giving it the benefit of the foubt especially that we had a long trip and needed to rest. However it kept getting worse as we went yo our rooms through the stained and stinky hallway. Other than the room was too small to open a small bag, it smelled like a public toilet and it wasnt possible to stay there for a minute. The whole room looked dirty and stinky to tolerate. We directly left to checkout where the lady told us she wont be able to refund us today bit if we contact customer service she can do it the next day. However we sent to costumer service twice and the refund was rejected twice. Other than the extreme inconvenience we had to face after a long trip and finding a new hotel, we lost our money. I dont know how this hotel hot there reviews or if people have different hygiene standards nowadays.

Nice room next to the Forbidden City! Really good location to do city trips. Next to the subway. Turn on the AC.

Decent and cheep

The location was pretty convenient for all of the major tourist destinations. I mean you get what you pay for. If you look at most of the surrounding hotels, they are much more expensive. As a college student, price mattered to me and I wanted to work within a reasonable budget. For that reason, this hotel was good. It did its purpose of giving me a place to sleep and shower.

The room is small, but very close to Tiananmen Square. It only takes about ten minutes to watch the flag-raising ceremony in the morning.

The location is good, the National Grand Theater is within walking distance. There are convenience stores nearby, and there is also an office building with Luckin Coffee, which is convenient for eating and drinking. The room facilities are quite complete. There is no refrigerator, so just don't bring things that need to be refrigerated. The bed and quilt are very comfortable. The bathroom is relatively small and can only be used as it is. The hand sanitizer smells pretty good. Overall it is quite clean, but when I came back at night and opened the door, I saw a big round bug crawling on the ground. I hope that the hygiene management in this regard can be strengthened.

There was an event at Quanjude at noon and another one in the evening, so I went to this nearby hotel. After all, it is near Tiananmen Square. Although the hotel is small, the service and hygiene are still very good.

The prime location is very close to Tiananmen Square and Qianmen. The bed and pillow are also very comfortable. The only problem is that the place is too small. The king-size bed room is only suitable for one person, but it is still OK for this place and this price. The house is not very soundproof

It is close to the flag-raising queue (No. 2). Before 3 o'clock, the first queue entrance is within 10 minutes' walk; after 3 o'clock, the square verification entrance is within 20 minutes' walk. Sanitation and safety are OK, and the price is cheap

Close to Tiananmen Square and the National Grand Theater, chain hotels basically meet accommodation requirements. Don't be too demanding about the famous location, just look for convenience and high cost-performance.

The room is quite small and not very soundproof. You can hear the sound of the tap next to you. The corridor is very narrow and there is no elevator. The only advantage is the location.
