This hostel was a great experience for a solo traveller! My room and the amenities were very clean and the front desk was very helpful. The location is good, 10 minute walk to metro, 2 minutes to bus station, 2 metro stops to Wangfujing and a 15 minute walk to a beautiful park - Ritan Park.

"The Hoco Hotel is an excellent choice for passengers by train. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet, perfect for getting some rest during a layover.

Good and affordable stay in Beijing. Prefer this over normal hostels, as you can get your own little private room. Staff didn't speak English but were helpful!

My stay was great. Location wise. If a Filipino national will see this review, this hostel is just few meters away from the embassy of the republic of the Philippines. I booked a single occupancy room with shared bathroom. You may want to bring bath towel and slippers as this hostel is mainly for sleeping purposes. Highly recommended👍

New and modern hostel in a good location. I had a small private room and you have anything you need in it including AC, mirror, table and chair. The bathrooms are big. There was a lot of staff cleaning the areas through out the day so everything was very clean and smelled nice. There is a big common area with big glass windows and nice views. I was the only foreign tourist though, everyone else seemed to be Chinese and mostly students, like it is common in hostels in China.
The only drawback is that neither Wifi nor my own mobile data was working in my room so every time I wanted to use my phone I had to go to the general area.
Would stay again!

The staff was super helpful and nice! I couldn’t speak mandarin and they put in the effort to understand me through translation apps. Sarah (iirc her name correctly) was vv welcoming as she showed me around the hostel.
I felt very at home and comfortable, and I look forward to staying there again.

The room, as well as the entire hotel, is refreshed and in really good condition. Unfortunately, due to a language barrier, I couldn't use it on the day of check-in, even though the room had been paid for. In return, I was supposed to receive a discount for the next day or two, depending on how long I stayed. I stayed one day longer but didn't receive a refund. Ultimately, I paid for the two unused days. The hotel was supposed to contact me, but unfortunately, they didn't.
