Love this classic hotel! The service was fine but its historical background and the setting of a Qing Dynasty official residence is hard to find.

An amazing place in traditional Chinese garden. Located in center of Beijing and near everything ( subways, buses, tourists sites, Hutong, etc) . Room facilities are clean, modern and enjoyable. Recommend.

We loved it here! The location is really good as it's next to the Guloudajie Metro stop. Line 8 will take you to all the popular destinations in Beijing. Our room was clean, beautiful and nice and warm during our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly. The court yard was also very beautiful. The only downside would be that there's no elevators up to the third floor and as far as I saw there were no accessibility stuff inside the rooms. There were also no queen bed + single bed option but our child is still small enough to fit with us on a single bed, so that was fine. Otherwise there are rooms with one king bed that can fit a family. We would 100% stay there again.

Royal Courtyard, first-class environment, small room size, but there is no way around it, the Imperial City is like this, the most uncomfortable thing is that the shower is in the bathtub, but it is generally quite convenient to go around

The Dazhaimen Siheyuan was where Sheng Xuanhuai lived for a long time. It was also where the national leaders lived. The environment is elegant and grand. The greenery in the courtyards is very good. There are pavilions, towers, rockeries and flowing water, which make people feel relaxed. There are buses and subways not far away. There are not many restaurants nearby, but there are a few good ones, which is quite convenient.

The hotel was converted from Sheng Xuan's nostalgic house. The courtyard is like a small park with beautiful autumn colors. The waiters are very friendly, especially the young man Zhou Hangyu.

Excellent service, full of details in the building and interior decoration, good quality, well maintained, exceeding expectations. Walking distance to Houhai.

Zhuyuan Hotel is a Shengyuan that I learned about more than ten years ago, and I have been thinking about it for a long time. It is very close to the Bell and Drum Tower and Houhai. In the morning, I took my daughter to do some makeup, and then went back to the hotel to take some photos. The hotel's front desk and sanitation workers are very friendly and will take the initiative to say hello. It's a pity that I didn't eat in Zhuyuan's restaurant this time. I will come to taste the delicious food next time.

I came to Zhuyuan for dinner a long time ago. By chance, I wanted to find a hotel nearby. I met the hotel front desk guy, Zou Hangyu, who made me very happy! I was only going to stay for three days, but an accidental conversation with Hangyu changed my plan. I was deeply moved by Hangyu's cultural connotation and etiquette. I stayed here for 40 days, which allowed me to relive the warmth of old Beijing, feel the fireworks around the Drum Tower, and the joy of tourists checking in. It evoked the memories of autumn in old Beijing when I was a child. I felt the tranquility of Shengyuan, the golden color of ginkgo, the cuteness of kittens, and the good services in the restaurant. I will stay for a while if I have the chance.

I have always liked living in Zhuyuan. I stayed in Zhuyuan twice in Beijing in one year. It is a 3-minute walk from the subway station. There is a restaurant at the entrance of the alley. It is a 15-minute walk to Shichahai. It is convenient for travel and parking is available in the courtyard.

The quaint residence of Sheng Xuanhuai, an important official in the late Qing Dynasty. I also learned that there were two very important and special people in this ancient house in Zhuyuan. Song Qingling's mother and Zhang Xueliang's mother-in-law both worked in the house. I will come to live here next time.

I chose this hotel based on the reviews. The breakfast looked very good, so I ordered breakfast. But I got an egg, a red bean paste bun, a milk and 2 boxes of pickles for 58 yuan. It was totally different from the reviews! I called to ask but they didn't tell me anything. They said it was different every day. They were shirking responsibility! Unbeatable!
