Grand Skylight Hotels in Beijing

Most staff in this hotel spoke English and they understand foreigner problems because most our mobile dont work in China so they are helpful with it. Train station line 2 and 5 are right outside the hotel front door. Most popular street is 1 stop away from line 2 trainstation. Tiananmen are closeby but not too close, which is good. (Tips: do not stay way too close to Tiananmen coz the phone signal will not work, so will have so many problems using the phone) This hotel have their own Termal spring water system, so its good for spa after whole day walking. Only down side is there is no air conditioning in the rooms but the receptionist provided me a fan, so it no big issue.

An incredibly beautiful hotel that has recently undergone a renovation, giving it a more modern feel while still preserving its elegant, Parisian-inspired charm. The breakfast room is decorated with large paintings of Napoleon, and the room ceilings are styled with French influences. The meeting rooms are spacious, and the Legendale VIP room is ideal for smaller, more intimate meetings, comfortably accommodating around 8 people. The food was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Overall, a fantastic experience – I’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Legendale!

We are allowed to check in at 11am because we came during winter season and it is off-peak. It has 2 lifts. The elevator is slow but functional. We stay in 9th floor and have front view of entrance. Not much city view..it is 5-7 min walk to Jian Yu hutong MRT , mrt is surrounded by many malls. There are mcdonald,7-11 and kfc in walking distance. Si Min Ji peking duck is 6 min walk away. Room is well maintained and air con is warm and cosy. They have air purifier, tea ,4 free mineral bottles . Bath room is warm enough. They have liner string to dry clothes. Building is very old but inside is well maintained. Buffet not much variety but can fill my stomach is good enough.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the metro, making it easy to explore the heart of Beijing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with directions and recommendations. My room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet, which offered a mix of local and international dishes.

The hotel located at Wangfujing, near attraction places like Temple Of Heaven, Tian’men Square and The Forbidden City and it has easy access to public transport. As for breakfast, there’s a lot to be choose from, and for Muslim guest, there’s some halal selection (you need to look for the halal remark and choose wisely). Staff can communicate in English very well. I will definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay at Wangfujing area.
