The location was good. Hotel itself was dated. Service was mediocre. Buffet offered very limited selection of food and drinks.

My colleagues and I booked 5 rooms and we were amazed by the service from the staff. We were allowed to check in early and check out late. Room was worth the money you pay and breakfast is also worth every penny. Dinner buffet provides so many options for food. I would definitely book this place again incase I visit Beihai again.

I would really recommend this hotel just for the private beach! The public beaches are full of people, but this hotels beach was very calm and pleasant. In the evening we had a meal on the beach. The view from the room (on the sea side) was stunning. The buffet breakfast is amazing. Huge variety of choices. My only complaint would be the bathroom that felt a bit run down. Would need to be refreshed.

Horrible service. Maybe it’s because it’s ***** New Year. But the staff, especially the breakfast area, was horrible. The hotel is at least 20 years old, the room was stuffy and smell a little mouldy. The service staff was rather stern and not friendly…
