Hotels in Beihai with Swimming Pools

5 minutes walk from the old street where you can enjoy a night walk. Lot of seafood restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops. The front desk is very nice and welcoming, offered us free breakfasts where you can find a really good variety of food. and added our wechat in case needed any help. If you go there Mr Yuan yuan shan at the front desk will surely make you feel like home. He is so freindly and helpful.

We had an amazing stay at Shangri La for summer vacation with kids. Hotel is very safe and comfortable to stay with young kids. All staff is dedicated all day and night long to provide the best experience. Hotel and facilities are clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is amazing and kids can spend our on the slide. The beach is just across swimming pool. Breakfast buffet is a perfect mix of Chinese and Western breakfast to satisfy everyone. Dinner buffet is also amazing, including the wide sashimi/sushi/roll bar.

The hotel is not big, but every corner feels carefully designed. The butler service is very considerate. He can contact the customer in advance to confirm the itinerary and prepare high-speed rail pick-up and pier pick-up. The driver will wait in advance and the service is good. The hot milk provided at breakfast and in the evening also made people feel warm. The passion fruit drink for breakfast was delicious.

I enjoyed my short trip to Beihai at the Crowne Plaza. The facilities met my expectations and I enjoyed the indoor swimming pool during the hot summer day. Breakfast provided a wide variety of assorted foods and hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating of foreigners. I didn't book a sea view room so the view was average, but the room had everything I needed to have a very comfortable stay. Hotel staff helped me place an order for McDonald's food as my travel to the hotel was late in the evening (by that time the hotels kitchen and restaurant had stopped operating for the day). They even had the delivery guy give the food to me at my room door for which they greeted me and apologised for the disturbance/inconvenience caused because their kitchen was not operational at that time. My money was well spent. I am happy 😁

All the beauty happened here unexpectedly. I booked a B&B on the day I arrived on the island, but the one I was looking for had no rooms. Meeting another island by chance was the biggest surprise this time. Standing next to the sea, the room is not damp at all, it is dry and comfortable. Lying down and listening to the sea, your fatigue is gone. The B&B has its own private beach and infinity pool. I still remember that night under the stars, listening to the sea in the pool and watching the fireworks on the other side. What more could I ask for. Looking forward to seeing you next time.

The reception staff is very helpful, although more English-speaking staff would be advisable as most of the staff does not speak English and it is a 5star hotel. I would like to mention Lisa who speaks English and was very helpful, providing useful information regarding hotel facilities, Covid test places and places of interest. Big up to Lisa! The breakfast buffet is okay, but the pastry choice is a bit limited and, generally, it feels that the hotel does not really cater for western guests (mainly Chinese dishes). The buffet lounge is full of light; it is very spacious and facing the seaside, which is great. However, the cleanliness can be improved as the tables and the floor were not cleaned quickly enough, and my table and the floor under it were greasy/dirty. The facilities are quite varied. The pools, gym, tennis court, steam room were used during my stay and they were in good condition. The steam room takes a long time to heat up though. The staff in the gym/swimming pool does not speak English at all. The table tennis room and some other facilities were under maintanace during our stay, so we did not use them. Overall, the hotel has more recreational facilities than most hotels. Well done! Regarding the location, the hotel is on the coast, but the sea is not swimmable there, so you can only enjoy the view. The hotels near the main Silver beach (for example, Crowne Plaza) are considerably more expensive (about 500rmb difference), so a 30-min taxi ride there (costs around 30 rmb one way) still makes the Furama hotel a much more economical option. The sea view from the rooms is very nice! Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and a late checkout was highly appreciated! My rating of the hotel is 4.5.

Advantages: The accommodation environment is very good, the view from the hotel balcony is also very beautiful, and the attitude of the staff is also very good. It's about half an hour walk from the old street, which is quite close. Disadvantages: The external unit of the air conditioner is a bit noisy, and you will hear the whirring sound at night, which has little effect, but the light sleeper may not be able to stand it.

This is not the first time I have stayed here. Every time I come, my kids are reluctant to leave. The hotel facilities are very complete, the smart home in the room is very considerate, the breakfast is also rich, and more importantly, the hotel service is very attentive. Special thanks to the front desk manager Zhang Meihua. After learning that we had brought children to stay, he upgraded the room type and provided many suggestions for surrounding activities. He responded to all requests and made both adults and children have a great time!

The most satisfying one night stay in Beihai. The villa has its own beach, infinity pool, gym, etc. The scenery is quite beautiful, the car can be driven directly downstairs, and the parking is quite convenient. The sanitation in the room feels very clean, and the service is also very good. In the middle of the night, I found that the bathtub could not drain water, and someone came over to fix it right away. The price is basically the price of the garbage hotel in front of Silver Beach. The beach of the villa is very beautiful, there are few people, and you can find a small crab or something. The children had a great time. All in all, the price/performance ratio is very good

My review will be based of the fact that we came in the low season. Maybe be during summer is okay. Winter experience was far from pleasant. First of all the temperature outside was 8 degrees and inside the AC could barely heat it up till 13. It was cold during the night and the stuff told us “we can do nothing about it”. Breakfast was Chinese cuisine (poor and cold and not tasty). In addition they didn’t even have coffee. The stuff at the reception didn’t really know something about the city and we had to go to the terminal to buy the tickets and found out that it was closed. The toilet in the room was really small (you can see it in the pictures). You can barely fit yourself in. The good thing (for staying in summer) is they have outdoor swimming pools on each floor and the balcony has nice view and lots plants. Rooms are quite big. But overall we won’t suggest you the place in the low season.
