Beihai Hotels with Gym

I extended my stay here because my flight back home was canceled. The entire process was hassle-free and in addition to that, I was gifted a christmas card from the hotel staff. House keeping came every three days because most workers we sick due to covid and the botel was short staffed. However, supplies like water, soap, etc were alaways available in a self service area for guests on the resident floors and if one needed extra assistance, someone was always availato offer assistance. My overall stay was wonderful and I hope to return soon!

My friends and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for one night while transitioning to Guilin. The hotel was in a good location next to the beach, and we were happy to have good rooms overlooking the sea view. For dinner, I went to the Chinese restaurant at the hotel, and they had excellent service and food (the beef fried rice is a must to have). The breakfast in the morning was great, with a wide range of options available. It would have been nice for the lounge to extend its opening times as they close quite early, and we could not access it. Overall, we had a good stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beihai.

The front desk service is very good, the breakfast is rich, the room is clean and comfortable. The location is convenient. The high-speed rail station is just across the road. It is really suitable for business travelers. Every time I come to Beihai, I must choose this place. Recommended!

The most satisfying place in Weizhou Island, I ordered a large sea view suite with a particularly good view, and the design style is in line with my aesthetics. The only thing is that the street is a little noisy, but it is acceptable. The interior is the same as the store described (forgot to take a photo) ), the service is also very good, and the restaurant is also super good. I ate at this restaurant for most of the few days on the island. In short, I recommend it

We generally liked this hotel and stayed for 4 nights while in Beihai. The rooms are very spacious with bathtubs and other good amenities. They are also very clean, and the hotel also offers a good breakfast. The only issue was that it's winter and the rooms were cold. They would not heat up no matter what, and I had to use two comforters from two separate beds together to be warm at night. That was the only problem, but otherwise everything was good. The location is also very convenient.

The reception staff is very helpful, although more English-speaking staff would be advisable as most of the staff does not speak English and it is a 5star hotel. I would like to mention Lisa who speaks English and was very helpful, providing useful information regarding hotel facilities, Covid test places and places of interest. Big up to Lisa! The breakfast buffet is okay, but the pastry choice is a bit limited and, generally, it feels that the hotel does not really cater for western guests (mainly Chinese dishes). The buffet lounge is full of light; it is very spacious and facing the seaside, which is great. However, the cleanliness can be improved as the tables and the floor were not cleaned quickly enough, and my table and the floor under it were greasy/dirty. The facilities are quite varied. The pools, gym, tennis court, steam room were used during my stay and they were in good condition. The steam room takes a long time to heat up though. The staff in the gym/swimming pool does not speak English at all. The table tennis room and some other facilities were under maintanace during our stay, so we did not use them. Overall, the hotel has more recreational facilities than most hotels. Well done! Regarding the location, the hotel is on the coast, but the sea is not swimmable there, so you can only enjoy the view. The hotels near the main Silver beach (for example, Crowne Plaza) are considerably more expensive (about 500rmb difference), so a 30-min taxi ride there (costs around 30 rmb one way) still makes the Furama hotel a much more economical option. The sea view from the rooms is very nice! Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and a late checkout was highly appreciated! My rating of the hotel is 4.5.

It was my first time to come to this hotel. I had a good impression. The price/performance ratio was very high and very affordable. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, and it was very close to the seaside. Xiao Li at the front desk was very kind and friendly and the service was excellent. I will choose here again next time.

Although Jinchang New Century Grand Hotel was renovated in 2020, it is also very old and has a musty smell. The service attitude is quite good, but the facilities are outdated. The balcony door cannot be pushed open, and the air conditioner is very noisy. As soon as the door is opened, it feels like standing in front of the cold storage fan🥲Although it is a sea view room, the visibility is not high. The reason for choosing it is just because it is close to the pier😄But because it is too old, I was scared to refund the Shangri-La behind. I refunded the boat ticket to the island overnight and bought the earliest one again🥲🥲Give up the business class of Beiyou 25. I have to run fast when I smell the gasoline smell on the first floor of Zone B of Beiyou 12🤣🤣🤣If it weren’t for the lack of time, I would have wanted to escape to Yangshuo overnight🥹By the way, another advantage is that it is a 15-minute walk from Gangqiao Style Street, and there are shared electric cars all the way😊😊 (If you want to play hotels by the sea, you have to go to Sanya. It may be more cost-effective to stay in a homestay in Beihai)

A very satisfying accommodation experience. The hotel manager contacted me in advance and arranged the room before check-in. The reserved family suite is in Building 7. The manager also thoughtfully provided the newly renovated double room with sea view in Building 1 as an alternative. After comparison, I chose the family suite in Building 7. It feels like home and has a good sea view. The balcony is very large and looks exactly like the picture. Because we avoided the National Day rush hour, there were not many people staying in the hotel when we arrived. We had a private swimming pool and it was great for taking photos. Special thanks to Manager Lao for his considerate service. The hotel has a free sightseeing bus, which can be used in the villa. The hotel is in Guantouling, which is far from the city. If you mind the inconvenience of traveling, rent a car in advance. It is not expensive to rent a Hongqi tram in Beihai. Just make sure to charge it when returning the car. You can charge it in the Sheraton underground garage next to it, which is very convenient. The hotel is suitable for people who like a quieter and more comfortable environment. They can enjoy private time away from the hustle and bustle. The reef beach downstairs is also great for taking pictures.
