Hotel Sa Punta - Adults Only fr13

We urgently needed to find a Hotel six days before we travelled as our friends we were due to stay with were ill. We needed to find an adult only hotel with a large swimming pool near our friends' home. So what a wonderful find was Sa Punta! It ticked all our boxes. They made us so comfortable, we had a beautiful big room with a lovely balcony with the sea in the distance, huge pool charming garden and the staff were all very attentive. We appeared to be the only British people staying there but that did not matter in the least.

We stayed for six nights and will return. The grounds, garden and hotel are incredibly relaxing. The pool is for swimmers: great! Heaps of loungers and seating. Has a lovely outside bar. Restaurant was pretty good…I believe in the past it was first class. Room was lovely: we had a junior suite. Above all the staff were simply lovely: Ariadne, Noelia, Flávio and Marios (apologies if we have got your names wrong!) were just first class: friendly, smiling, helpful and humorous! If I was being super critical it could do with a library, where books could be donated, borrowed… and more art perhaps? It was a little clean, white and minimalistic!! Fabulous stay. We will be back! Thank you.

We had returned to Pals for a trip down memory lane, however, previously we had never stayed at Sa Punta. We were extremely impressed. Nothing was too much trouble for the super friendly and helpful staff. We couldn’t fault anything. We particularly loved the black out blinds, the power shower and the shaded area along side the pool. The pool itself is beautifully clean and jacuzzi bubbles were used a few times! The hotel had the perfect setting and location, the food was excellent and hopefully this won’t be our first and last trip.

Loved our stay! The location made for a lovely walk into town! The staff were very friendly and accommodating! Free parking and an AMAZING breakfast and large rooms made this hotel a winner!

Its not often that we feel that we would return somewhere when there are so many amazing places to visit but I think PALS and this hotel could be the first. The hotel is well positioned, albeit up a hill so perhaps not best for those with mobility problems (mostly fine once you're inside), its quiet, restful but close enough to the action if required. You can find a sun lounger with shade cover at any time of the day and being adults only means its quiet and definitely a place to unwind. The food is fab and the fabulous Noelie makes the best Sangria we've ever had...its masterful! Her bouncy personality added to our experience of the hotel plus a further shout-out needs to go to Eric and Elsa - such kind and attentive staff, thank you all for making us feel so welcomed. I didn't get the name of the man on reception who tirelessly helped to make our bed more comfy. My only criticism is that the bed was rock-hard and we both woke with achy backs after our first nights' sleep. We mentioned it and the reception man immediately set about a remedy. He saw us the next morning and instantly asked if we had slept better, it was improved but still not that comfortable so again he responded immediately. That night the bed was padded out and was so much more comfortable. So whilst the original bed deserves a 3*, the service and commitment to our experience deserves a higher rating than is possible here so we agree that overall we had a 5* experience. Beautiful hotel with private spaces or a relaxed bar area for meetings others.

This hotel is beautiful, quiet and the service is excellent. Every member of staff was kind and approachable. We stayed in one of the suites which had a huge terrace with sun beds, a jacuzzi bath and super king bed. To say the hotel is spotless is an understatement, even the pool toilets were sparkling. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced considering other hotels. We paid 16 euros for some pan con tomato and jamon for lunch and the plate of jamon was several packets worth in the UK. The hotel restaurant is excellent and their lobster paella delicious for 26euros each. Breakfast is continental, the spread was the same every day, however it was all fantastic quality and plentiful. We especially enjoyed the fruit and honeycomb. The swimming pool was exceptionally quiet and had plenty of sun loungers. With the pool being my favourite experience, it was just the right temperature, crystal clear and so large you can swim lengths to your hearts content. We hired a car for the drive up from Barcelona which was about 1hr 45 but primarily highway and a very straightforward drive. If you are looking for an all inclusive with entertainment and cooked breakfasts, this isn’t the hotel for you. But if you want a peaceful, tranquil and gentle stay in a very lovely part of Spain then it’s ideal.
