I stayed here on my last night after leaving the UK for testing! A typical British-style family hotel with average hygiene. The bed in this room is very small and the bedding is mediocre. It’s ok for a makeshift one night. But I don’t think Chinese people would stay here unless there are special circumstances. They live in the city center. Isn’t it delicious😂😂😂

Lovely place to stay, I love the quaintness of the place, not a speck of dust insight, one of the cleanest places I have stayed. Staff are genuine and so willing to make you feel welcome nothing is too much for them. Breakfast is a must. The mattress was very comfortable it felt like new.

Great location however, we got the tiny room just above the London Underground! Very basic bathroom facilities. Did I mention how small the room was? Clean sheets but threadbare towels. Staff at reception smiled when we mentioned the proximity to underground.

This Hotel was dreadful, our treatment there was terrible. We were given a room which we paid £110 for, which stunk of sewage. We made the Duty Manager aware within 10 minutes that we were not happy with the room only to be told he couldn't smell anything! He said he would look into it so we went for something to eat at the local public house, when we came back we went back in and it still smelt. He even said we were about 2 metres away from the stench pipe in that room. So I am assuming that is where the smell of urine and excrement. We came straight down told him and he said there were no other rooms, so we had no alternatively but to leave. We asked for a refund to which he replied "we would have to go through ***********" We went to them and they said we had to contact the Hotel, we did that and they have said we cannot have a refund even though the room was unsuitable. The decor of the room was terrible, the wallpaper had a big patch missing.. I wish I had taken photos but to be honest I couldn't get out of the room quick enough We have tried to deal with this with the Owner but are getting no where at all. Disappointed is an understatement. We would NOT RECOMMEND IT

Due to a mix up with dates I could only stay one night however the owner did all in his power to help me. Small room that was very warm and suitable for short stays. Shared bathroom but again this presented no problems for a short stay. Great location close to train station. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again when next in Beeston.
