Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park

Well-worth staying. Perfectly located on Lake Sambell which for us put on evocative misty mornings, must come back for swimming! Close enough to everything - history, nature, snow fields. A great place to explore, and a great base for further-afield adventures. The cabin was perfectly set-up, bed was so comfy we all had the best sleep. Kids had a bunk bed and one up store luggage. All the gear in the kitchen we needed, some juggling with counter-space but not a drama. Other cabins were quiet, next time we’d hire a fire pit for behind our cabin but with so much rain we didn’t. A last-minute request to stay an additional night due to a hiccup with our next accomodation was able to be accommodated, for which we were very grateful. We barely scratched the surface - didn’t get a chance to use the mini-golf! - but would definitely go back.

A great find. Really well located, edge of town and beautiful surroundings. Great facilities, very kids friendly with play ground, crazy golf and lots of space to roam and cycle. Friendly staff and easy to communicate with before the stay. We will be back!

We again had a terrific time at Lake Sambell. The team are always friendly and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. They continue to be a benchmark for quality park management! The park itself and all the amenities are clean and very well maintained. Great camp kitchen and BBQ by the lake. We had another enjoyable stay and look forward to coming back in the future.

We loved the Caravan park and the amount if shade trees and green grass everywhere. There were lots of trails and bike riding options all around us. The studio cabin we stayed in was perfect for our weekend stay with bike riding friends. We will return definitely!!

Could not speak highly enough of the park and staff. Reception staff are very efficient and friendly and couldn't be more helpful. On arrival we were escorted to our site, then guided our van effortlessly into place. Five star service from the very start. The park is kept in excellent condition and the team could not be more friendly or helpful. The site had excellent views across the lake making a drink with friends by the fire very enjoyable. Have booked in for a holiday there again early next year.

From the very start, we just knew we were going to have a wonderful few days. Such a beautiful park overlooking the lake. Friendly greeting at check in, an escort to our site and assistance getting onto our site nice and straight! And what a site….. so much space among the autumn trees! With the nights getting cooler simply order a fire pit, kindling and wood for a very reasonable price and it’s delivered to your site!! Oh did I mention the amenities…. Pristine clean…. of course! Cannot fault our stay except we didn’t book long enough ….. so we’ll have to come back and soon!! Thank you for such a lovely stay
