Overall clean hotel with very convienent location. Breakfast choices were a bit limted to prepackaged items. Also, the room was not too great. Matrices need replacement, just awful. Shower head height was made for a 4 foot child or handicapped person, it could not be adjusted up for an adult. Water pressure terrible. This is a popular hotel location so be prepared for parking challenges.

It is close to the expressway. The check in staffer was friendly and efficient. The directions to room were accurate. We were on the second floor, but it was just down the main hall. The room was clean and well stocked. The bed was comfy. The breakfast delicious, had a good variety of food. The coffee was good and hot. The only con was the AC. it worked well, but if it has a filter it needs to be changed or the whole unit needs to be sanitized. It had a mild musty smell. Not enough to make us change rooms. Will stay again when we pass through the area.

I gave it a 2 but honestly we would stay again. Here are the reasons for the 2: Staff: Super nice but all over the place. First our room was given away and we were placed in a double although I had paid for a king; 3 months earlier. After waiting, we finally got a king room. The blame from the front desk was the main Choice company and the cleaning staff. Internet: Never worked and we call the 1-800 every day for fixes Cleaning Service: We asked for service every day but never received it. Had to ask for toilet paper, towels, and emtied our own trash. Soap bars: never soaped up and disintegrated as soon as it hit water. Breakfast: Waffles were great! Individual juices were spoilt. Just remaining cold breakfast offered. Parking: Not enough Appearance: location is off a bit. The hotel is a bit dirty with trash bags full all over. Large lobby for hanging out. Long hallways to rooms Beds: comfy Rooms: Not as large as Comfort Inn rooms and small bathroom.

We were given room 103. When we got there the door was propped open and the microwave open. The night clerk, who was very nice, said that she had not been told about any problems, that they must have forgotten to close the door. So, we went in and relaxed a bit. The room smelled like smoke, even though it was non- smoking, and I started having problems with coughing. My husband used the microwave to warm something, and it started smoking and I could see fire in it. He immediately turned it off and I unplugged it, but you could smell and see smoke. We were given another room, but by that point I just worried about fire down the hallway. The second room was clean, but the beds and pillows were not comfortable at all. Didn't get a lot of sleep. Breakfast was not good. Two sugary cereals, white bread for toast, some prewrapped pastries, and some Yoplait yogurt. Coffee was not good. We won't be going back to this hotel. The only good part was the night clerk who said she was just there helping out. We did notice the next morning that they had removed the defective microwave.

My bad - I meant to pick Holiday Inn Express, but this is a regular Holiday Inn. We had a 1 br suite which is nice. Before I go good and not so good, the bad: housekeeping knocked around 10 am then just opened the door. Thank goodness we had the lock engaged. (There was no ‘do not disturb’ tag). Why not wait until checkout? The good: the bedroom had a door that closes - a real bedroom. The bed was comfy. Fridge and freezer. Keurig machine in room. The not so good: the kitchenette was dark (why is there no light in that corner?). The oven was pretty dirty. There was a (clean) trash bag in one of the pans. No silverware, and no dish soap. No complimentary breakfast. The TV had about 20 home shopping stations, and almost every other station didn’t come in. The TV was surprisingly small. The furnishings were a mix of possibly newer and older, and the bathtub had like a worn out place where most people would stand. Nothing really terrible, just a few things that could have gone better.

It was clean, it was comfortable and the continental breakfast was great ! It was conveniently located for all of our needs. Sadly, we didn't have time to enjoy the pool, but it looked amazing. We walked around the pool area, we also checked out the gym & laundry. I'm sorry we couldn't stay longer. The 12pm checkout time was very nice too. Every staff member was kind and accommodating. We will definitely stay there again & recommend to family & friends !
