Inside, the house is a charming blend of rustic and modern design. Large windows face the lake, allowing natural light to flood the rooms and offering uninterrupted views of the water and the surrounding trees. The warm, inviting interior features burnished hardwood floors, exposed beams, and a brick fireplace in the living area, as well as plenty of comfortable seating and harmonious, understated décor throughout.The recently updated and very well-equipped kitchen offers new appliances, plenty of counter and storage space and a peninsula with seating for four. It’s the perfect setup for conversation and cooking gourmet meals together, which you can enjoy at the two dining tables inside or the screened-in picnic table outside. Sliding glass doors lead to the furnished deck, complete with bbq grill and stairs that connect you to our outdoor amenities. The washer and dryer, available for your use during your stay, are conveniently located on the first floor. With so much space to spread out, every person in your group can spend downtime the way they like best—whether it’s lazy afternoons reading or daydreaming on the sunporch facing the lake or an evening hang out in the finished basement. The basement is fully outfitted for fun, with couches, TV, games, pool table, air hockey, bar table and a mini fridge. It also has direct access to a lovely outside covered area with additional seating and a gas firepit for cozy ambiance. Upstairs, you’ll find two newly renovated and sparkling clean full bathrooms: one featuring a tub and the other, a walk-in shower. Or spend the day exploring the many surrounding towns with antiques, restaurants and shopping galore; take a drive down a country road looking for roadside farm stands; go for a long walk in the woods; or explore the nearby rock quarry (the app AllTrails is a must have for this!). At night, have dinner at an outdoor restaurant, grill on the deck, relax with a glass of wine on the porch, roast marshmallows, do a puzzle, or enjoy your favorite streaming on our Roku TV with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and more. The house has one large main room with living and kitchen areas, and two small bedrooms. The larger room has a queen bed with a comfy mattress and luxurious linens. The smaller bedroom has a full-size bed and narrow twin upper bunk (for children only). There is a cozy screened-in front porch with lounge furniture and fan, and a back deck with gas grill and seating for four.
