Great location in case you have a car or you like to walk! Staff is awesome and helpful. You will be close to nature and relaxing by nice views. Houses are located in well-kept garden. Cozy apartments with all you need for self catering. You can find couple of small local and Indian shops around 5-7 min walking. Be aware about steep slope to this location. It's a big plus if you like any fitness activity! There are many places for car parking.

My apartment was clean, neat, and had a serene view of the mountains. The location is also close to the main Beau Vallon beach by car, as well as restaurants and other CBD establishments. The apartment also had free WiFi which was essential and great for me. A car is definitely needed to get around the area. The owners were very helpful and friendly and made my stay comfortable. However the staff on site needed a bit more probing to be proactive with any queries or help I needed. Overall I would recommend the lodge as a great vacation stay on Mahe

We had a decent stay in the lodge and found it super clean. Kudos to the cleaning lady. However we found that the upper floor apartment wasn't as shown on photos. Specially the kitchen and living area. We were expecting clean lines where instead we got a miss match bunch random furniture and rugs on top of each other. I have attached the pictures of what was on the internet when we booked to what was in the apartment. Other issue was the noise. We found the place really noisy at night. There was a young man staying at the apartment below us who was relentless and we were kept up at night. Overall we didn't have a bad experience but I was expecting to be staying in a place that appears the same as on picture.

Philippa and team went over and above to support my daughter who was on Mahe to spend a month at a conservation programme with GVI. As a young solo traveller Lemongrass looked after her before and after the programme - they went out of their way to make her welcome and to make her feel safe arranging airport transfers. Responsive with pre arrival questions from an anxious mum.

Wifi through the network in the Seychelles is very poor. If you have a router that connects to the mobile network a reasonable connection can be made. This place advertises Wifi but really it is non existent. The proprietor told me it was because I had an iPhone and not a Samsung. She then told me I was confused.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Apartment war sehr geräumig, es war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Von unserer Terrasse konnten wir einen kleinen Blick auf den Beau Vallon Strand erhaschen. Sehr ruhig gelegen - Hundegebell und krähende Hähne zählen wir nicht zu Lärm. Der Taxitransfer vom Flughafen und zur Fähre hat bestens funktioniert. Toll war auch, daß wir mit Stella in den Südwesten von Mahé zu ihrer Farm mitfahren durften. Sonst waren wir mit Bus oder per pedes unterwegs und ja, der steile Anstieg ist eine challenge, es gilt 7 Minuten zu schlagen ;-) Wir können die Lemongrass Lodge empfehlen, wenn man gerne in der Natur wohnen möchte.

Nous sommes arrivés le 2 septembre et avons été gentiment accueilli par Karen. Lemongrass est situé sur les hauteurs de Mare Anglaise dans un beau jardin très bien entretenu, au milieu de fleurs et d'arbres. Nous étions installés dans l'appartement Palmier bien équipé et offrant une magnifique et reposante vue sur la montagne, la baie de Beau Vallon et l'océan. Nous remercions chaleureusement Philippa qui le jour de notre départ nous a permis de garder l'appartement jusqu'en fin d'après midi, sans frais supplémentaire, notre vol partant très tard ce soir là. Nous recommandons pour un agréable séjour Lemongrass. Bernadette & Pascal.
