We loved our stay at Lago Linda Hideaway! We stayed for a week with our two young children who had a blast exploring the trails, lake, and pond on this beautiful property. The first two nights we stayed in one of the small cabins which was comfortable and kept us nice and warm with its space heater. The one room cabin had a trundle bed, futon, microwave, mini fridge, Tv, toaster and hot plate as well as the space heater mentioned above. Our campsite for the rest of the week was #3 in piney woods, a nice camp site with a raised platform, picnic table and fire ring and a few trees for hanging our hammocks. The camping sites in piney woods are somewhat close together but there are also fields where you can set up camp in a more dispersed area if you desire. The bath houses were simple but had what we needed and there was an outlet and water spigot right at our camp site which was great. About 25 minutes to drive to the natural bridge state park or Daniel Boone national forest for great hiking. The hosts were wonderful and flexible. They accommodated us for our first two nights with a cabin when we got nervous about our kids staying in the cold weather as we had originally planned to camp the whole time since they had a last minute cabin cancellation. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!
