Clean room, very friendly staff, super view, perfect for a night during the journey holidays negative points are that it is very ringhound. You hear almost everything from the room next door. And the beds are cracking right.

This review was written by my 8-year old daughter: About this hotel: It is a family hotel. If you are a kid, the first thing they are going to do is give you a teddy bear. It has a swimming pool and a gym. The swimming pool is really cool and it has a small waterfall built into a rock. The gym is quite big itself but we didn't go there. It has a nice view and a nice hotel restaurant. The food is really good and they have a really great breakfast. You order the main food and you get to choose the side dishes from a breakfast bar. For the main food, I picked omelet - it is quite yummy but it was not salty enough. For the side dishes, I picked cereal, kiwi and juice. They were all really yummy and sweet. You should go to Dorint. I give this hotel a five star review. -- From the parents' side a few additional notes: On the negative side - There is no AC in the apartment, so while this may not matter in the summer, it was quite warm during our visit (30-35C). It cools off nicely in the evening, but there are no screens on the window, so you'll likely end up with a few moths or other bugs in the room if you leave the windows open. On the positive side, they really cater well to families - from the teddy bear at check-in to a little board game on the back of the kids menu, to the small playground area (which seemed to be good for 4-6 year olds). Restaurant on the first floor, accommodation on the second floor and above. The accommodation is hygienic and comfortable, and outside is the fairy tale world under the snow-capped mountains of Switzerland. The restaurant has a history of 100 years. The local mushroom soup in the Alps is so delicious. When I was a child, the mushrooms picked in the back mountain made the natural aroma. I also ate the wild (**) deer recommended by the neighboring table. The taste was a bit sour. I like it, but the portion is huge. The next day, after breakfast, I walked around the hotel at will. The scenery is picturesque. I personally feel that it doesn’t matter if I stay here for one night or not to go to Jungfrau. The only downside is 8 kilometers Panshan Road from Interlaken, but it is no problem for us to drive by car. The hotel has free parking spaces and the service staff are very friendly.

Staying at this charming family-run hotel, owned by Dani and Linda, was an absolute delight. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed not just as a guest but as a friend. Dani and Linda are incredibly kind and go out of their way to make you feel at home, offering plenty of great tips on what to do in the area. The hotel itself is lovely, boasting stunning views that take your breath away. It's conveniently located just a few minutes by bus or car from the city center, making it easy to explore. The breakfast is excellent, and the rooms are equally delightful—clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a warm, friendly, and beautiful place to stay. It’s a hidden gem where you truly arrive as a guest and leave as a friend! The cleanest hostel you can imagine. Everything in the kitchen and bathroom are tidy and clean. Not the best pillow you want but I brought it myself so it didn't affect me. The room is really warm that I didn't have to cover myself even it is -3 outside. It is in good shape that you won't have to walk shoulder to shoulder. Everyone have their own locker that can easily fit my 30L backpack. However, there are only one EU socket in the room. It provides one USB A socket and a wireless charging rack for each bed but I don't think it is enough for people having laptop. Some of the wireless charger are also shaky so not the best place for you to put your phone on. The location is really good too, only 3 to 5 minutes to Interlaken West station and 15 to 20 minutes walk to Interlaken Ost (East). Breakfast is average, not the best for budget travellers. COOP half-price food cost much less if you are not that picky.

We had booked three rooms ata very high price for a 3 star hotel (~ 280 CHF) to stay there in first half of June. After checking in we were shocked to find that one of the three rooms was around 60 % of the size of the other two rooms and there was no Air conditioner.( yes, you heard it right- no A.C. and Interlaken is hot in summers especially during the day). When we contacted the reception, they just refused it first and later said, we have provided you with two beds and that was your booking, we don’t guarantee you room size. The reception was extremely rude and when we contacted the manager on phone she after arguing for 10 minutes offered us a bigger room at no extra charge for the next day of stay to which we agreed as there was no other option. Then the next day the person at the breakfast was again super rude and had an unacceptable attitude problem. The same day when we contacted the reception for change of room to the bigger room as promised by the manager but he just refused to do so or asked us to pay extra price for that. This receptionist was worst of them all as he just refused to listen to us and had no idea what hospitality is. The hotel has a very poor staff and had a differential attitude towards Indians. They were extremely rude and it all spoiled mood to travel. I would suggest nobody to book this hotel ever. They are a big bunch of liers and don’t know what hospitality is. I would suggest them to be gentle and kind which is the primary rule of hosting somebody.

First of all, the room is slanted, and the bathroom has serious drainage. For breakfast, you know, Western-based, very general, the tricks are repeated. The only dissatisfaction is that the front desk will disappear for 5 minutes. I have experienced it twice. I have called someone. Their hotel told me to wait. The result was more than 5 minutes.
