Liked old fashioned charm of hotel. Really cool place. Controller for climate was either not working or too difficult for this old guy to figure out. Maybe put some printed instructions for how to work the remote. We were in room 212. Was not a major detraction from our stay, just a little frustrating, otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was such a lovely, historic place to stay. The staff were all wonderful and we liked the big porch and the easy access to the private beach.

Very classic building. Public spaces were excellent. Our room had a severe slant in the floor. I have trouble with my balance. It was difficult to move around (room 218). I don't know how the other rooms are?

Book Well in Advance!
Old small hotel near Lake Michigan. Unpretentious, cozy, good beds, great food.
No elevator. Nice people. Very clean. Sells out.very tiny bathroom in twin bed room.

On the road again
This was a last minute decision to stay as we didn't know how far we would travel. We found this Inn which is very nice and comfortable. It is an older establishment with no elevator. Our room is nice but the bathroom is small as per the period of the building.

We enjoy our annual visit to this property. It retains its historical value while offering a cozy way to just relax and be. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable and hospitable staff.
