Bear Lake Lodging was comfortable, roomy, and cozy. The breakfast was excellent. Bree, Skye, and Macy were accommodating, thoughtful, and kind hosts. We all loved the quiche. My daughter never had it and now she considers it one of her favorite breakfast. I rediscover yogurt and granola. We all love the chia pudding. The baked elements for breakfast were delicious and filling. The family style breakfast was comfortable and companionable as we got to talk to other guest and share our experience. The bedrooms overlooking the spectacular view of the lake, lotus flowers, birds, eagles, gigantic evergreens, floating plane, and the majestic mountains was roomy and comfortable. We appreciated the accessibility to the extra blankets and linens. We are from Hawaii and not use to the cold. The bathroom upstairs was convenient for night time needs. The bathroom downstairs was roomy and had enough counter space for our needs. The kitchen downstairs had what we needed. Although we didn't cook anything, the microwave came in handy and all the dining wares were accessible. The fridge was roomy for all of our leftovers and drinks. We also appreciated the little dining table that we can eat together as a family. Having access to the kayaks and canoes with tutorial was helpful. The location is close enough to Seward that we were able to go back and forth and not drive too long. We do recommend bidets in the bathrooms to offset the water and septic restrictions. We enjoyed our time in Bear Lake and we will come back here next time we are in Alaska. Aloha & Mahalo (Thank you)
