"The hotel has no equipped parking. You will have to leave your car on the side of the road.
There is no beach as such.
There is a breakwater with steps. But when swimming from it you can step on a sea urchin. Also, sometimes you can feel the current from the waves and this creates an additional level of discomfort when swimming.
A very interesting place for snorkeling, but the nif is not alive and they are only trying to restore it."

"The location of this hotel is very good, the sea water is great, the beach next to the hotel has a lot of corals, a lot of fish, and the snorkeling experience is very good. But the hotel itself is not good. The facilities are old and the service is average. The most important thing is that there is no way to have a good rest. Loud music is played until very late at night, and the guests have no way to choose or refuse. Isn’t the first priority of a hotel to make people sleep well? I don’t understand. In short, this beach is highly recommended, but this hotel is not recommended."

"A bit tired hotel, cold tiles on the floor in the rooms, nowhere to dry bathing suits. Good food, excellent restaurant. We had dinner in a Japanese restaurant, really liked it. Didn't like that random people were walking around the hotel, we didn't see any security, and if there was, they didn't pay attention to it. Strangers came up to the sun loungers, went inside, took a shower near the pool, probably could have gone into the restaurant, because there was no one at the entrance, no one asked anything. Once they brought us a bill written out for our room the day before, without a signature. We said that it wasn't our bill, they calmly removed it, probably not the first time."

"The number one priority shared by every staff member at Salt is to provide superior customer service for their guests and ensure that their needs are met in a beautiful and relaxing environment! Everyone was kind and welcoming which made our stay enjoyable!
We loved having easy access to the beaches, as well as the many water activities provided by the hotel. The gentlemen at the boat house were helpful and encouraged us to participate in all of the activities! The beach is very clean with breathtaking views of the clear blue, turquoise water, sunny days and beautiful sunrises/sunsets!
The spa, Salt Equilibrium, is very nice! Anju has a fun, carefree personality, and very professional and knowledgeable in regards to massage therapy!
The food was good, but my friend and I agreed it is a bit overpriced! Breakfast is made to order! The chocolate praline croissants were my favorite…oh! And chai lattes! Cocktails weren’t our favorite as I believe the bartenders were probably beginners. However, they do have nice wine selections!
Overall, our experience was excellent and we would most definitely rebook this hotel again! One recommendation would be to have transportation (motor bike or car) so you’re able to venture off to see other areas of the island! However, the hotel reception would be more than willing to book transportation for you!"

"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was beautifully placed on the east coast of the island. Great views of the beach. But the truly outstanding thing about this place were the staff. "The front desk lady is very good! Super enthusiastic! English communication is smooth!
The whole small hotel sparrow is small and complete. There is even a microwave in the room.
Breakfast is inevitable outside, there are small flying insects flying next to it. There is no problem with bathing, but some of the bathroom is wooden floor, which feels a bit strange. At night, there are a lot of geckos on the outdoor walls hahahaha ～
The best thing about this small hotel is the location! A few steps behind the hotel is Blue Bay! And you can also go back to the hotel to take a shower after checking out, very intimate!
Of course, come back early at night, if you come back from the road, it is quite scary to have no lights in the dark."

"We really liked the hotel: comfortable, cozy, quiet at night, first line, private clean beach with a beautiful view, which was cleaned every morning especially for the comfort of guests. The only thing to consider is that you definitely need to rent a car here, because taxis are expensive and take a long time to wait. But we rented a car, so everything was great.
I played golf on the local course, and my wife and I also went to the spa, where Kevina and Sweta gave us a very good massage.
There are a lot of small lizards on the territory, but this is a typical story for Mauritius, there are a number of insects that the staff actively fights, and at breakfast you can be bothered by rather impudent sparrows. But the hotel was so good that we did not pay attention to these little things.
In general, the hotel is top. I recommend it. Despite the four stars in the hotel rating, it is much higher than many five-star Turkish hotels."

This adults-only hotel is located opposite the white-sand beach of Belle Mare, which is reached by crossing the street. This is one of the best beaches in Mauritius and the hotel has a great position along this preserved coastline.
"The beach of Mao Ball really doesn't want to hold too high expectations. This is the third home in Mao Ball. The service and the first two are really incomparable, because the former one lived in a bubble and served too much. There is no comparison here, you can only say that the price is OK, after all, this price is cheaper in the hair ball. To praise the bath water here, because the bubble is open air, so the bath water is cold at night, no matter where the bath water is good in the morning and evening, it is close to the SUPER U flacq shop. Go to the hair ball and try to avoid Sunday. We had 2 weeks of this trip, which was wasted. The public holiday supermarket of Zhoumao Maoshu was closed, the hotel was closed, and the project did not have to play."

"The hotel is expensive for a reason. The facilities are complete and you can basically enjoy them without leaving the hotel. There is golf but I didn't experience it, and I didn't want to spend money on the spa. Except that the Chinese restaurant was a bit shabby, everything else was perfect. I only stayed for three days and didn't have the barbecue buffet, which was a bit regrettable, but everything else was really perfect. The swimming pool is heated and free water and ice packs are really considerate. The service staff are very nice. It is a hotel worth staying in. Recommended"

"The hotel area is very green and beautiful! What I was looking for in Mauritius, but didn’t find in another hotel! Everything is here, singing birds and views, there is a beach for swimming with a lagoon, and there is a wild one with huge waves for photography or just enjoying the views, golf, a warm outdoor jacuzzi, swimming pools, wonderful view rooms, villas with a private pool are excellent! The food is also good! We were greeted with sparkling cake and upgraded the villa!
Although the vacation was overshadowed by the fact that I left the ERES swimsuit at Villa 216 on a hanger in the bathroom... I wrote everywhere and for two weeks now, I get the answer... “no no no one found anything anywhere” well of course! There was no need to look, he was there... We draw conclusions... maybe the manager is not aware of the situation, well, at least he can read it, I hope they will still contact us upon return"

TTarynAn amazing hotel right on the water with every room facing the water. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. Beautiful big rooms with lovely balconies. The dinner and breakfast were also really good, with a great variety and a lovely outdoor area to sit at.
I do however think the cleaning staff need to take a bit more care when cleaning. We were there for 6 nights and 3 of the nights we had to phone housekeeping because we did not have towels, or we did not get toilet paper, or we did not get our bath robes… and then housekeeping took at least 20-30minutes to bring the items.
The other thing was that they put a single duvet into a double duvet - so when you are sleeping there are many times when you only have a sheet and no duvet. Maybe change that.
Otherwise I really can’t complain about anything. There are plenty of beach chairs and there were always chairs available and it was an amazing and relaxing place.

GGuest UserThe scenery of the hotel is good, and the sunrise and sunset photos are good. However, there are some reefs on the main beach, and there are often groupers in them, which is not suitable for swimming. But you can play in the water
The hotel is located near the bus station. There are many buses that can go to the areas along the Great Bay. The fare is only 30 rupees, which is equivalent to 4.5 RMB. Very convenient.
The open beach near the hotel is better and you can go paragliding.
The hotel staff were quite enthusiastic, but when settling the exchange rate, they were too clever and gave me 43 for 1 U.S. dollar. The normal rate at the airport was 46. To be honest, I didn’t have much money, but I just felt uncomfortable.
Regarding lunch, it costs 30 US dollars, but it is relatively simple and has not many tricks. Breakfast is basically the same every day.
There are local weddings held every day in the hotel, which is very festive and shows that the hotel's consumption is reasonable.
It is a very cost-effective seaside hotel in the Grand Bay area of Mauritius and is worth staying for many days.

GGuest UserThe hotel's pool suite is large and comfortable. It is located in a quiet and undisturbed area of the hotel. It is designed for couples and anniversaries. This room type is not available for families with children. Please book carefully. The best Jade restaurant in the hotel is also in this area, and it provides exclusive breakfast for guests in the area. It faces the sea outdoors, the atmosphere is full, and it increases appetite and avoids the crowds in the lobby buffet restaurant. The only regret is that this area is not the best spot to watch the sunset. The overall stay is satisfactory, and the service staff are very warm and friendly. There are limited free water activities in the hotel, and you are often told that the wind and waves are strong and not suitable; but there is no such restriction for paid items. The hotel also invites guests to participate in a free cocktail party, watching the sunset while tasting wine, which is very leisurely and comfortable.
