"Not much to look at from the outside, but this little hotel seriously delivered where it matters.
The room was simple but the service? Exceptional. I stayed for 3 nights and the breakfast alone deserves a standing ovation — a different spread every single morning with even the banchan changing daily. It felt thoughtful, intentional and the cook was getting compliments from other Korean ajummas staying in the hotel.
Special shoutout to the night staff who went above and beyond — I was down with a cold and struggling to stay up to wait for my laundry and she literally told me to go to sleep and that she’d take care of it. True enough, I woke up to everything dried, neatly folded and packed in a bag for me to collect. Highly recommend this hotel. Would come back in a heartbeat! Photo below is my view at breakfast.

"I really liked this hotel. Even though it’s a bit remote, it’s very quiet, the view is amazing, and the room is comfortable, I truly enjoyed my stay. The bus stop is very close, and if you need to go to the airport, there is also an airport bus nearby, about a 13-minute walk.
Before coming, I had read some reviews and many of them were quite negative, so I was a little worried. But once I arrived, I liked it immediately. The hotel is cozy, and the staff are very friendly. Even though it’s in a quieter area, I think it’s actually very convenient to start exploring Busan from this side. It’s much less crowded compared to the city center. Plus, Lotte Mall is just a few stops away, so if you plan to do some serious shopping, it’s very convenient.
I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to Busan."

"The location was very convenient. Hotel room overlooking Haeundae beach and plenty of shops, convenient store and restaurants just right below the hotel. The room is spacious and the bath tub was huge. We had 2 toilets which was a plus point for 4 girls. This speeds up our time taken to get ready in the morning. Unfortunately, one of the toilet’s draining isn’t working. Even though they came to try to fix it, the drainage was very slow and floods the toilet"

"Trip.com had a mismatch with this booking and I stayed at Hyoi Stay Busan Songdo. It's the same hotel as they said, just a different name. It's also the same building and room type was identical. So my review is for Hyoi Stay.
Great hotel, new, very clean room with a washing machine and a dryer. Location is also great, view from the room was beautiful. Hotel is like airbnb, room also had a kitchen and a balcony. Very helpful and nice manager met me near entrance of the building to help find the office on 3rd floor to check-in.
Now, if you don't have a car and don't use taxi, be careful as the walk from the bus stop is going downhill and if you have a heavy bag coming back up can be hard. Even with this it's only 10 minutes walk from bus stop.
Overall 5/5 loved it, would gladly stay again."

"i booked this hotel for 2 days and had wonderful days.
Especially, i was surprised at the Tromm Styler.
i also enjoyed room balcony, either.
However, i was disappointed at 3 things.
･i wasn't allowed to enter the rooftop balcony.
･There are cockroaches in my room though my room was on the high floor. In addition, there aren't any phone in the room, so i couldn't call the front staff.
･we can store our luggage near the front desk, but there’s no claim ticket system—you simply leave your suitcase there, which made me a little uncomfortable.
Overall, it was a good hotel for the price."

"Highly recommend this place with great sea view! The hotel is very clean and in a perfect spot right next to the metro with only 2 mins away. The staff are great n very responsive whenever we had an issue. You definitely get your money's worth here with the great rooms and service. They also have a luggage storage area which made our last day so much easier. Will definitely stay here again!"

MMeiduocao【Park Hyatt Busan】Stayed in the 'sailboat' of Haeundae, where the floor-to-ceiling windows framed Gwangandaegyo Bridge and the entire ocean. I fell asleep to the sound of the sea breeze and the city lights, experiencing both relaxation and luxury.
Environment: The hotel's location is relatively quiet with fantastic views. There's a supermarket downstairs, and a noodle shop and two great cafes very close by, which was quite convenient for a tourist.
Facilities: Very new, especially the stunning view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. I didn't even want to close the curtains at night!
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy.
Service: Excellent.

Ambiance: Excellent. We stayed in a new building with a balcony room. Sitting on the balcony, listening to the sound of the waves, gazing at the sea, and sipping coffee was incredibly relaxing.
Service: The front desk staff who handled our check-in and check-out were very warm, thoughtful, and professional.
Cleanliness: The hotel is very clean and hygienic overall. However, one day, we left in the morning after tidying the bed ourselves, but when we returned in the evening, the bed was very messy. I immediately wondered if housekeeping hadn't cleaned that day. I also questioned why the bed was so messy. So, I checked the trash can, and it had been emptied. Does that mean housekeeping doesn't make the beds??? I then looked closer at the bed and noticed that a small part of the duvet inside the duvet cover was exposed. When we left, the bed was tidied, so why was it so messy when we returned, with part of the duvet exposed? Upon closer inspection, there were bloodstains, which made me feel very uneasy. What could be the reason for this? I even wondered if housekeeping, while tidying the bed, tried to change the sheets, discovered bloodstains on the duvet, and then didn't replace it promptly, or forgot to, or something else? I was very upset at the time and immediately called the front desk to explain the situation. But after waiting a while, no one came up. So I went down to the front desk to explain the situation in person. The front desk staff was very helpful and said that the housekeeper had already gone up to tidy and bring clean linens to the room for replacement, and suggested we go up and check. I went up again and found that the housekeeper had only tidied the bed and hadn't changed anything. I immediately asked the housekeeper, in front of her, ”Didn't the front desk explain the reason clearly to you? Didn't you see that the exposed duvet core was dirty with bloodstains?” I immediately pointed out the spot to her, and she then apologized and said she would immediately bring clean replacements. Sigh.....
Overall, the hotel's location, ambiance, and service are all good, and the issue was resolved. Sigh......

AAnonymous UserWe stayed a week at JB Design in Busan. We had a great stay. The room was big and comfortable. The whole place was very clean. Free washer and dryer was a plus as well as the gym across the street. Our favorite though was the free coffee and water, such a great amenity to just be able to grab a coffee or water whenever you want. We will stay here again on our next trip to Busan.

Ffrog_the_nameOverall, I had a great experience at this hostel. Rooms are soundproof enough that any noise outside didn't disturb me. There weren't many guests when I stayed there, but I had a few friendly chats with some of them. I had to work from midday until midnight and there was no table in the room so I stayed in the common area which had the most amazing view of the sea and the beach. The staff was mostly not there but they were friendly when we interacted and they let me check in early :)
Things to improve:
- it wasn't the cleanest. I wish I could vacuum myself at least because the floor upon my arrival wasn't very clean. also as soon as I turned on the AC I was starting to cough uncontrollably, almost choking on my coughs so I guess it hasn't been cleaned for a long time
- in the evening they turn off all the lights in the common area so it's very dark and you can't see anything. I asked the staff to leave some lights for me because I had to work, but they just turned on one desktop lamp which wasn't doing much. I worked silently and didn't disturb anyone so I wish they could accommodate this easy request

CCraig ReeceExcellent locations overlooking the beach. the streets are very noisy until midnight even on weekdays with steeet performers singing and bars playing music so don't visit if you like to sleep early but perfect for anyone looking to partake in the bright lights of haeundae and the rooms were spacious enough and in good condition. highly recommend!

Ddragon0415Overall, I highly recommend this place. First, let's address the downsides:
1. Could you please add a light to the ceiling? Is that really so difficult?
2. Could you add a sign pointing to the north entrance? Is that really so difficult?
I didn't book breakfast, so I can't comment on it.
Everything else was great:
1. The room was huge, spacious, and even had a balcony with a sea view. The bed was large enough for a family of four.
2. The location is excellent. From Haeundae subway station, exit 3, walk straight for about 300 meters, and you'll reach the hotel building. The hotel is only about 200 meters from the beach. Think of it as being just off the main Haeundae street, a little closer to the beach, and less than 100 meters away from the main drag – that's where the hotel building is located.
3. The service was good too. I asked the front desk for an extension cord, and they found one for me.
Finally, a tip: From Haeundae subway station, exit 3, walk straight towards the beach until you reach an Olive Young on a street corner. Turn left there, walk less than 100 meters, and look to your left. You'll see a large entrance that looks like a shopping mall with the hotel's name on it. Take the elevator directly to the ninth floor.

GGuest UserLocated near the beach, the room was large and comfortable, and housekeeping was prompt. Disposable toiletries were provided. The room had a small balcony with a sea view, and we were lucky enough to see the sunrise. A very nice hotel, and the front desk staff were very friendly!

海海外ＴFrom check-in to check-out, there's no need to interact with any staff, speak to anyone, or even show your passport. The lobby is unstaffed; you simply type your name into a touchscreen machine to receive your card key and enter your room. (This is the process if you have a reservation.) Checking out is just as easy: press the 'check-out' button on the same machine and insert your card key. It's incredibly convenient!
The location is excellent, especially for those visiting casinos, enjoying nightlife in the area, or needing an overnight stay before a flight, as it's very close to the station. However, don't expect any scenic views from the window. Given the location and overall setup, it's not recommended for families with children.
**Important Note:** As of September 3rd, 2025, the elevator was out of order, which meant lugging heavy luggage up the stairs.
There was a mysterious game console, but I couldn't figure out how to use it. You'll definitely need a power adapter/converter for the outlets. Also, the bathroom only has a shower; there's no bathtub.
