"The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options that put my husband and me in a good mood first thing in the morning. In the evenings, there were many grilled fish stalls right outside the hotel on the street, offering fair prices and attracting a lot of locals. This was by far the most satisfying hotel experience my husband and I have had on a trip. We were so happy! We'll definitely be back."

"Everything about this hotel was great, with the sole exception of the room size. Truly, it was all positives! Being a Japanese chain hotel, I expected the rooms to be small, but it was perfectly adequate for two people and didn't hinder our activities at all. The location is absolutely fantastic, incredibly close to the train station – literally just across the street. You can even see the train station from the hotel, and the tracks from our room. The staff were all wonderful. The front desk attendant was enthusiastic and attentive. The ladies in the second-floor breakfast restaurant were constantly greeting guests and thanking them. When we discovered the kettle in our room was broken, we called the front desk, and they immediately apologized. A staff member then promptly knocked on our door to deliver a brand-new, still-boxed kettle, again apologizing for the inconvenience. We were so grateful! There's also a self-service laundry machine on the first floor. When we first struggled to use it, a staff member came right over to show us how. This washing machine was amazing – shirts came out completely dry, perfectly spun, and incredibly crisp, without a single wrinkle. They looked as good as new, as if they'd just been ironed. This machine is truly magical. The breakfast on the second floor was also excellent. Even though it was busy every day, there were always empty seats, and the food variety changed daily, including some Korean specialties. We left breakfast feeling very full and satisfied. The location is convenient for getting anywhere; we could reach Nampo and Seomyeon by subway in no time. We had a perfect two days here and slept very comfortably. We messed up the room as soon as we checked in, so I didn't take any photos. All in all, this hotel is flawless, with no downsides except for the slightly small room."

"Coming from Seoul by high-speed rail, I can definitely say the rooms here are much better than those in Seoul. There are coffee shops on the ground floor and higher levels of the hotel, and the beach is just across the road, which is very convenient for relaxing. However, it's a bit far from the tourist attractions. On the plus side, there are many small restaurants around. Check-in is on the fifth floor, and you can self-checkout. Just a heads-up, you can't bring takeout food back to your room."

"100-point review: A perfect harbor for my Busan trip, where sea views and warmth coexist! Songdo Beach Hotel City truly felt like a perfect home during my Busan trip, and it absolutely deserves a full five-star rating! Unbeatable Sea View, Love at First Sight The hotel's view is an absolute top-tier experience! The enormous floor-to-ceiling windows in the room act like a giant screen, showcasing the Songdo Marine Cable Car, the azure sea, and the sprawling coastline without obstruction. I loved watching the sunrise from my bed, admiring the sky and the bridge painted red by the sunset in the evening, and then immersing myself in the twinkling lights and neon glow along the coastline at night. What's even better is that it's just a few minutes' walk from the hotel to Songdo Beach, truly realizing the dream of 'sea views from the window, and sand underfoot downstairs.' This close connection with nature was one of the most cherished memories of my trip. Excellent Location, Convenient Travel The convenience of the location was a pleasant surprise! I took a taxi directly from Busan Station and arrived at the hotel smoothly and quickly. The hotel is surrounded by a well-developed bus network, making it incredibly easy to get to major attractions like Nampo-dong, Jagalchi Market, and Taejongdae. The internal layout of the hotel is well-designed, and both check-in and check-out were efficient. The room layout was cozy and practical, with new and smart facilities that added a lot of peace of mind and comfort to the entire trip. Feeling at Home, Thanks for Your Efforts What touched me most was the enthusiasm of all the staff. From the front desk's fluent and friendly Chinese greetings and proactive, detailed explanations of attractions, to the polite and meticulous service from the housekeeping staff, and the warm smiles in the restaurant – everyone made me feel like I was being cared for by family. Their professionalism and kindness were the warmest scenery of my journey. Here, I especially want to express my most sincere gratitude as a Chinese guest to the hotel's Chinese staff and all the hard-working employees! Your efforts dispelled all our fatigue from being in a foreign land and made us feel the warmth of home. Thank you for making this Busan trip so complete and wonderful. Songdo Beach Hotel City will definitely be my first choice when I return to Busan!"

"I was pleasantly surprised that the front desk allowed me to check in before 10:30 AM. The beach view from the balcony was absolutely stunning and flawless. Although the room was small, the attention to detail was exceptional, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The value for money was outstanding; I seriously suspect this is the best overall hotel in Songdo!"

"View - If you are keen in wharf / harbor view, this hotel (see images) is along the harbour next to wharf, Songdo, so there is no beach on the wharf. At 4am you can hear commotion at the wharf, interesting for a different view from city or sea view. Nearest Songdo beach is still at distance, it is not at door step. Booked a large room for family of 4, comes with 1 Queen bed, 1 single, the last pax ended on the floor with Futons. (Although I indicated i had 4 pax, housekeeper does not seem to be aware, replenishes only for 3 pax?). Small hand towels are issued as bath towel, just be aware. Quite common for smaller hotel accommodation here (inn, AirBnB). Floor heater, water heater works, daily housekeeping. Has bath tub not used at all for winter. Good balcony for sitting in the cold to watch the wharf bustle. Pax using futon had a few bites by bugs, not sure if flew in from outside the room, else the room is clean. Nice open terrace at roof top with telescope to look into Lotte mall at distance, and the open sea after the bridge on the right. Complimentary breakfast offering at basement kitchen is available until 9AM (not 9.30am) - kitchen staff will remind you to finish up at close to 9am, and please clear your dishes at collection area, discard leftovers, return cultery, utensils. Breakfast spread : Cereal with milk (only on weekend), ONE slice of toast with jam, egg/s, one fruit or yoghurt, one coffee/tea, ONE juice, one instant noodles (if you want). Only tried for first morning, other mornings has similar menu on the wall. Staff - looks like husband wife team. Friendly to greet at reception at upper level. Safety wise - As accommodation is located at harbour with large prime movers and containers movements, it is better to travel in groups to look out for each other. I note the drivers are generally careful to look out for pedestrians on the harbour, wharf. Can be a bit dark at night in the surrounding area of the accommodation. Plus point - Double entrance door which allow you to lock inner door in case main door is being accessed externally. Location - About 20mins or so by bus to Busan shopping area where the crowd is. Not too far, The more popular tourist spots, beach sites is further up northeast at Haeundae beach, which is about 1 hour bus ride away. Pricing -, for the pricing, there are better known hotel chains going at more economic rates. So need to do proper research before booking. Else pleasant stay, simple, large room, no fanfare."

"Overall, we had a good stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made for a pleasant experience. That said, the room was smaller than I expected based on the photos. The bathroom was also located inside one of the bedrooms, which made things a little awkward when multiple people were staying in the unit. Another strange detail was that there were no large bath towels provided. The location is definitely one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. It’s close to the beach and within easy reach of nearby restaurants and attractions. The room also had a full kitchen, which was a nice feature. However, it was missing basic kitchen items such as pots, pans, plates, and silverware, so it wasn’t really possible to make full use of the kitchen. Despite a few inconveniences, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it a solid choice for a beach getaway."

"Facilities: The air conditioning in the room was problematic. It worked fine on the first night, but started turning itself off automatically on the second night. Hotel staff came and told us to use the remote control instead of the panel, which temporarily fixed the issue. However, on the third day, the remote control also started restarting infinitely. Luckily, it wasn't too hot those days, so we didn't really need the AC. Hygiene: The room was cleaned daily, but the bed wasn't re-made. Environment: The hotel's location is excellent, right above Haeundae Market. Everything you need is downstairs, and the beach is just a two-minute walk away. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from Haeundae subway station Exit 3. Walking to the Mipo Station for the Haeundae Blue Line Park Capsule Train takes about 20 minutes along the beach, which doesn't feel too far at all. Service: The front desk has a scale for weighing luggage before you leave, and there's also a microwave if you need to heat up food."

"The location is excellent, right inside a traditional market. One alley leads to the main street of Haeundae, and the other to the traditional market, which is incredibly convenient. It's also very close to the beach and the subway, making it super accessible. The front desk staff are friendly and you can store your luggage, though there isn't a dedicated baggage storage area. There's an elevator from the 1st to the 6th floor, but no elevator to the 7th floor. Rooms don't come with any complimentary toiletries, so you'll need to buy your own. The hotel does send a message beforehand to inform you of this. The bathroom only had two used bars of soap and toothpaste, so definitely bring your own supplies as no shower gel or shampoo is provided. The room has a refrigerator and a stove, so you can do some light cooking. I did find some leftover water and food in the fridge from the previous guest that hadn't been cleaned out."
