Wingate by Wyndham Houma

The room was big! The bed was comfortable! The air conditioning and heating was so fast ...it didn't take any time to get the room the temp you like it. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Enjoyed my stay. Everything was clean and maintained. Staff was very polite.

A Good Stop on the Way to New Orleans My husband and I were very pleased with our stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating with every request. June, the manager, helped us find a room accessible for my husband who has difficulty walking, helped with questions about the treadmill, and provided a cold place for my husband’s medicine. Teaka offered advice about places we should see in Houma. We felt quite welcomed at the Wyngate.

Okay overal Definitely can hear your neighbor through the bathroom wall. But outside of that it was a good clean hotel. No pool exist by the way.

I'll start with the good - check in staff were very friendly. The rest is not so good. Best description of my room was shabby - it needs some maintenance and upkeep. Rust on some of the metal surfaces, bathroom light bulbs did not match, stain on the carpet. I couldn't adjust the volume to the TV from the remote, probably the batteries needed changed but I arrived late and checked out early so didn't mess with it. Largest issue was some sort of water leak which made the carpeting damp and wet to the point that it left wet foot marks on the bathroom tile floor. I wondered why the room felt so humid and didn't realize the very wet carpet until in the morning. I did report that to front desk at checkout which the employee made a note to contact maintenance. The mattress was lumpy but hard at the same time, definitely needs to be replaced and upgraded. Overall room was just shabby and dingy. I was disappointed with the quality considering this is a Wyndham property. I didn't stay for breakfast as I just wanted to leave so I can't speak about that experience.

I stay here often while visiting family. I continue to come back because of the awesome staff.
