Great location , really friendly and helpful staff at Reception, in the restaurant and bar! In particular the wine waitress was impressive with her knowledge of local wines and came up with a great recommendation to go with our meal . The food was delicious and not overpriced , same could be said for the wine in the bar!

Sadly let down by these guys. The Junior Suite in the stone tower was beautiful as advertised as was the wonderful shower. About a month out from our stay, I was written by the hotel saying that they would be closed for the first day of our stay. Luckily I was able to book the Villa Koegui nearby for 1 night. I decided to stay here anyway because I was really excited about the unique room. What really spoiled it for me was that the room was very warm and the air conditioner blew very lightly and was controlled by the hotel to not go below 19 degrees. Breakfast was ok, no hot options other than boiling your own eggs. It was quite a contrast coming from the Villa where the AC was very efficient and the staff were great. It came off as a much more organized place to stay, despite being modern and less romantic.

This was a very nice hotel. The receptionist was very friendly and upgraded our room. We had a lovely room on the 3rd floor overlooking the road, but heard no noise at all. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but all the same I would recommend this hotel for a night in Bayonne. The car park opposite costs 12euros a day when booking through the hotel.

Absolutely loved my stay in this charming hotel and restaurant. It was my first visit to Bayonne, and the wonderful staff at this hotel helped me with anything I needed. My room was clean and lovely, and VERY quiet, which I appreciated after much travel. I highly recommend this hotel, and will myself look forward to coming back!

Superb room in the turret. Extremely comfortable and quiet. Excellent shower and nice personal touches from the management team. Very helpful courteous staff. Parking nearby worked brilliantly and the location was perfect for visiting the old town. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Visited Bayonne and decided to stay overnight. On selecting a hotel, we first considered a nice hotel from a hotel chain, but eventually opted for more character....and so pleased we did! The Hotel is full of charm, embracing its history and characterful features. The staff were helpful and very friendly. We had a very lovely room in the tower. The room and shower room were beautifully clean with high quality bed linen, towels, and even robes. The Hotel is perfectly situated on the very edge of the historic old town with everything in walking distance but still easily accessible with a car. Parking is readily available in a public underground, modern car park immediately opposite the Hotel. The Hotel rate for 1 day is a very reasonable 12 euros and we were able to leave the car in the car park while we toured the town after we had checked out. Because of the Hotel's great location, you can forget the car and travel everywhere on foot. We had a great breakfast in our room. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Monday night when we visited so we did not get to sample the restaurant - which has great reviews. Would we stay here again? ...Yes, definitely!

This is an excellent small hotel in the heart of historic old Bayonne. The staff were very helpful especially when one of our group had to return home early. The rooms are good, and the food is delicious and high quality. Sitting outside to eat and drink in the adjacent enclosed square is an enchanting and memorable experience. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
