This is an experience. The care of the staff, the grounds, the location. They 'punch above their weight'. Enjoy. Everything is walking distance and access to the roads out of town are easy. It was perfect! If you are reluctant to buy a breakfast package, their baguettes are the best we had in France.

Beautiful hotel in perfect location for Commonwealth War Graves cemetery, Bayeux centre and the train station. Very large orchard room with a massive semi-divided bathroom and a balcony overlooking the orchard. The breakfast and tea rooms located in the main house had bundles of character. Plenty of parking if driving. Very clean and modern. Only negative is lack of tea/coffee making in the room.

The staff, facility, breakfast and location in a beautiful town made this an enjoyable stay. The hotel is minutes from the railway station as well as convenient to the area sites, cathedral, tapestry, landing beaches, American cemetery and Mont St Michel

My husband and I spent 2 nights here. We found the room to be large, modern and very clean. The grounds are beautiful and the breakfast was very good with many choices. Everything in the village is within easy walking distance and we were able to drive to the Normandy beaches easily. GPS from Caen train station was accurate. Our only problem was that the entrance to the parking and the building are not marked at the street. We missed the entrance, parked in a public lot and walked back to register and get directions on where to park ( ample once you get through the gate).

The Domaine was wonderful from start to finish! We stayed in an Orchard room, which was enormous. We enjoyed the very comfortable bed and quiet night's rest. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great too, just a short walk from the Tapestry Museum and restaurants.

Wonderful room, very large for two, magnificent view of beautiful gardens out window, that alone made me feel like we arrived in France. Well appointed classic style room, much appreciated. The clerks at the front desk have been attentive the weeks leading up to the trip to answer any questions we had. Location: great short walk from train station. Short walk to town, by Bayuex Tapestry.

I think I have previously contributed a review of Domaine de Bayeux. We were lucky enough to be back there again in recent days and found the hotel as exquisite as before. It is like stepping into another world. This time we especially enjoyed relaxing on the terrasse in the sun, listening to the blackbirds and admiring the wisteria in bloom.

This was an amazing place to stay. We just stayed for one night, and left early, but I wish we would have planned for more time in Bayeux. The hotel location is excellent - only a few minutes walk from the train station. Our room was unique and beautiful (and roomy - we stayed in one of the attic rooms). And the breakfast was awesome - absolutely must get when you book.
