Chateau de Bellefontaine

We stayed here for 3 nights and found it to be not really worth the money. The room was nice (3 people) so we stayed in the addition/wing and had an upstair/downstairs situation. We had a room that opened to the garden area which sounds lovely BUT we had ants everywhere! Floor, bed, counters...the staff sprayed bug spay but had to leave the door open which then brought in flies. And we paid over $300/night! Beware! The room was nothing special although bed was comfy and shower products were very nice. Breakfast buffet is quite pricey as was dinner service (which we did not use). We stayed here because of the location to town and it ended up being a 20 minute walk to town. The grounds are beautiful but I would look for another place to stay if you are in Bayeux.
Hotel de Brunville & Spa

Our room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was a large wet room with an excellent shower. Parking is available but I suspect it might be more difficult in the summer. The hotel is perfectly placed for local museums and sites. The reception staff (shared with the hotel next door) were friendly and very helpful. An excellent experience and we will definitely stay here again
Premiere Classe Bayeux

Visited the Premiere Class Bayeux whilst on a trip to the area. The hotel is competitively priced. It's also quite basic. There were two people in our room, although the room has beds for three. If it were to be occupied by three people then it would be really cramped - it was congested enough with two people. The room was in decent condition: cleaned daily. However the bathroom is very small. Not much space at all. But the shower was hot and powerful enough so the basics are covered! The beds were comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. A breakfast is provided. I didn't try it, but others reported it as being basic. Overall - basic but certainly workable for a stay if you are looking to stick to a budget.

Great location near the old town and was greeted well by the staff and offered map and even shown us to our room and explain the room in detail which is a first for us.
