Unrivaled ocean view. There are no boats or houses blocking the view, only mountains, trees, blue sky and bay. The service is very considerate. Feel free to go kayaking. Both the buffet breakfast and the a la carte breakfast are of a high standard. Dinner was also very good, especially the steak, which was of a high standard. Used the best steak meat.

We had THE BEST experience @BOMC. Staff were welcoming and friendly, our room was perfect. Waves lapping beneath the balcony. Delicious food, exhilarating hikes, bird and glow worm watching was fabulous. Nighttime sky was spectacular. 1,000 thanks‼️

We had a wonderful 3 night stay with such welcoming and helpful staff. We appreciated the peaceful surroundings and natural beauty of the bay and the style of the resort makes this a very special place. P.S. Loved the friendly dinner service by Amanda and the special massage by Jo.

Probably the place I was looking forward to the most and absolutely lived up to expectations. The setting is beautiful, all the suites have incredible views over the Sound and the surrounding hills. There are some lovely walks to a waterfall, or a lookout point, or through the trees at night to see the glow worms. The hot tub is a great place to while away the afternoon. Food is exceptional, the five course degustation dinner was one of the best we had on the whole trip. Staff were excellent, really friendly and welcoming. One night wasn’t enough!

Absolutely fabulous from beginning to end and we are already planning to return next year. Stunning views, continual birdsong, just so peaceful, amazing wine list and did I mention the 5 course degustation for dinner with each course changing every single day? The staff treated us like family with special shout out to Amanda who became our best friend and Helen who took great care of us. We cannot rate the team and BOMC highly enough.

Probably one of the most beautiful locations one can stay. The Bay of Many Coves features a superb staff, cheerful, helpful and friendly. The accommodation we stayed in was a one bedroom apartment with a stunning view of the bay. It was well furnished and featured a well laid out living area with access to the balcony, tea and coffee facilities and a flat screen TV with Sky. A comfortable bedroom with plenty of storage and a bathroom with shower and underfloor heating. Breakfast and lunch was served in a lower area called the Kumatage while dinner was served in the Quarter Deck. The menu for dinner varied and was delicious. Facilities and activities available ranged from walks around the extensive property to kayaks to explore around the coves, although there were also plenty of places in and around the property to sit and soak up the sun and views. It really was hard to leave.

The staff, the view and the cuisine make an idyllic getaway at Bay of Many Coves. We were spoilt with a 5 course degustation dinner. Our attentive chef sharing his wonderful tips on flavours, recipes and ingredients from around the globe. The ever changing weather made our panoramic view intriguing with rolling mist as we arrived by boat to the stunning sunshine on the cove in the afternoon. Relaxed in the hot tub before dinner and enjoyed watching the bird life around the resort. Sunset drinks on the deck listening to only the water lapping. It truly is a hidden gem in Queen Charlotte Sound.

From the moment we got off the water taxi at Bay of Many Coves we knew we’d found somewhere special. The staff greeted us by name and then took us on a tour of this secluded slice of paradise! The rooms are large and well stocked and have views out over the cove and the location is secluded. Be aware that when they say ‘not accessible by road’ they really mention it. We were told even the food deliveries come in via the water taxi! This also means that you have to use the, admittedly excellent, restaurant on site and dining options there were generally limited to the (again, very good) degustation menu so it’s important to let them know not just of food allergies but of anything you don’t like before you visit. We took advantage of the free watersports equipment (even though it was only warm enough on one day to use it) and we’re able to navigate the calm waters off the jettys, and tried the walking tracks. Unfortunately it had been raining in the days before and the tracks are real bushwalks so couldn’t get as far as we would have liked. The staff are the real gems of the place though. Nothing was too much trouble and they seemed to know what we wanted before we asked. There’s always someone around to ask, but it didn’t feel like they were hovering, just going about their daily day. One tip, and it’s not about the hotel. If you’re travelling to meet the ferry in Picton give yourself lots of time on the water taxi. It made a few extra stops on the way back that we weren’t expecting and we only just made it with the help of the iSite staff!

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, with its own terrace overlooking the gardens and the bay. An absolutely superb experience. The breakfast and dinner are delicious. The place is extremely peaceful and quiet, and a great starting point for exploring the Queen Charlotte trail on foot.
