We just returned from a 5-night stay at Disney's Carribbean Beach Resort. We were very pleased with our experience. There were 10 of us total across 3 hotel rooms. In the MDE app we requested to be near the Skyliner and we asked our travel agent to ask for our rooms to be close or next to each other. Everything was accommodated. We were in the Aruba section building 56 which is about a 10m walk to the main building and main pool. But we were outside the bus stop to MK and AK and a 3 minute walk to the Skyliner and Riviera Hotel. My daughter needed a wheelchair and my nephews had a stroller. So being this close to transportation was awesome! The resort was clean, room was a good size, we had soda refilling stations for our resort mugs near our building. Our building also had it's own pool. The main pool was a big hit with my kids and there was entertainment all around. The front desk and bell services staff were helpful, kind and responsive. Requested a microwave with no problems. I would totally stay at this Disney hotel again hands down. It was really really nice for a Moderate resort. Highly recommend if you something that's has easy transportation but isn't as expensive as the deluxe resorts.

The Caribbean Beach resort (CBR) is awesome in so many ways: 1. The Skyliner gondola system to Epcot and Hollywood Studios 2. The hotel is really a resort, with lots of beaches and pools, with waterslide and hot tub, and lots of space 3. Great food court that accepts mobile order on the Disney app. They feature a pork and rice dish that's very good. The fish tacos are great too. 4. Lake view everywhere is immensely beautiful 5. Large, comfortable playground for the kids 6. Right next to Riviera, which has a fantastic food court 7. Five minute Skyliner ride to Hollywood Studios, where you can take a bus to other hotels where you might have dinner reservations 8. You can take the Riviera bus back from the parks if the CBR bus is late, though that's never happened to us. The bus is there frequently. 9. It has its own sit down restaurant, though we did not try it. We just got back from our Caribbean Beach Resort stay and it was fantastic, even though everything didn't go perfectly. When we arrived at 11 am, there was a big crowd in the lobby and our room wasn't ready. It was raining lightly. So we went to Epcot (8 minute Skyliner trip from the Riviera Station, no wait), and the rain got worse. We went on rides and got wet even with raincoats. We got the virtual queue for Guardian ride. We went back at 3:40 p.m., and our room still wasn't ready (check in was 3 pm). So I went and asked for any room they had (we wanted a ground floor room but waived that request), and got an upstairs room. We changed out of all our wet stuff and felt much better. Our room did not have a TV remote. I called and they brought one over immediately. Then our toilet made a loud, whiny noise after it's flushed. It was like somebody blowing a trumpet for a couple of minutes. It was rather comical, and I would have left it like that except I worried that it might wake us up at night. We called and someone came over soon and fixed it. At 4:30, our Guardian virtual queue was ready, so my son left for Epcot, got on the ride, and came back, no waiting for buses on both trips. So convenient! It was almost as good as staying at an Epcot hotel for twice the money. W ate dinner at the Riviera's food court, where we got the spaghetti (they call it something else), vegetable skewer, and cheeseburger.Everything was sit down restaurant quality with fast food prices. No wonder that place is ranked #1 food court in Disney World. Upstairs, the lobby bar sells incredible desserts that makes you feel like you are really in Europe. The buildings look stunningly beautiful across the lake, though I think it looks even better at night, with the lights reflected on the water. Tip: The Skyliner is not air conditioned, but it still feels cool on a hot day because it is very windy inside. It does feel hot if it stops, but it never stopped during our trip. Tip: The hotel doesn't have elevators, so you MUST request a ground floor room if you can't walk upstairs. They can help you haul your luggage

We loved, loved our stay at Caribbean Beach. We stayed 6 nights and were in Trinidad building 37. It's a bit of a walk to the main lobby area, but we didn't mind. The rooms are Under the Sea themed. We thought they were so cute, and there was SO MUCH STORAGE! Even though Caribbean Beach is a very large resort, we had many amenities close to our room. Every "island" has a quiet pool. Trinidad also had its own little restaurant, Spyglass Grill, which we really enjoyed eating at. There is also a laundry facility in Trinidad, and a bus stop. So, we only walked up to the main lobby area when we wanted to swim in the big pool. We went to the pool a lot of evenings, and we could see the fireworks at Epcot there. The Skyliner was also amazing and makes Caribbean Beach so accessible to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. I'm not sure if we just got lucky, but we had great experiences with the Disney buses here, too. Each time we left Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom, there was a Caribbean Beach bus within a couple minutes. We never waited longer than like 3 or 4 minutes for a bus! We could also see Disney working hard to maintain this resort. At one point, they were repainting some of the walkways in front of the rooms. Later, we saw them replacing some of the air conditioners in some of the rooms. So, the resort is well maintained. There is an Alexa in the room, too. You can ask it for whatever you need (I asked for decaf), and someone brings it to your room shortly afterwards!

Stayed here as part of our trip to Orlando. The resort was quiet , peaceful clean and wonderful. There was 5 of us staying in an under the sea room in Trinidad with 5th bed. The room The room was clean on arrival but don’t feel house keeping really cleaned it too well. Have the under the sea room gave us extra space im not sure I would have liked to have had 2 beds out all h the. We were disappointed by few aspects of the room: Air conditioning was really noisey Glass shower screen made it so difficult to was kids hair in bath The door to the toilet if you slid it too much it was awful to get it open again. The drinks cooler sadly didn’t really cook anything The Resort The resort was really big although in Trinidad we didn’t find the walk too far. The sky liners were one of my favourite things- we jumped on them to go to boardwalk, resort hop, go to Epcot and see the fireworks. Much preferred when we had one to ourselves but sometimes had to share. I was pleased there was pretty much never a queue for them either. Pools were great - alittle disappointed my 10 year old couldn’t go on slides at the smaller water area - felt the height restrictions was too small. She did however enjoy the pool games. We went to toast marshmallows one night and I found staff friendly in all of the resort but in marshmallow area I didn’t feel it. There was 5 of us and instead of giving up 5 marshmallow kits they asked us how many we would like and I felt if I’d said 5 it would have looked greedy . Kids had a brilliant time lizard spotting and playing in the sand. Food We only ate in quick service - which was ok but fruit was really expensive at 5 dollars for 2 bananas Overall we had a wonderful time and would return but only for a few days as I feel room is too small for any longer .

Just wanted to share a review after our recent stay at CRB. We left 1 week ago after an amazing 10 night stay. We are a family of four ( two kids ages 10 and 13) and are from the UK. We would love to go back to CBR one day and can’t really imagine wanting to stay in another Disney resort if we are ever able to return. The resort: We loved the relaxed Caribbean atmosphere, the steel drum music playing, the beautiful lobby building, the layout of the resort with the different islands, and the small pools and the bigger fun pool area, the lake, Caribbean Cay, the different options for food ( Inc Riveria) and just how beautiful it all was. It didn’t feel too far to walk anywhere to us, although the heat zapped your energy fast but that’s true of walking anywhere in Orlando. We loved spotting animals and saw lots of rabbits, lizards and turtles both in and out of the water. Didn’t see any snakes or gators which were we simultaneously glad and sad about! 😂 We had read online that it was too big, but we didn’t feel this at all and everything was in walking distance or you can use the room phone or Disney app or Hey Disney / Alexa to speak to front desk, bell services or to request things for the room. We ran out of shower gel one night and used Hey Disney to ask for more and within 10 mins someone knocked on our door to give us some. 👏 All the Cast Members we spoke to were friendly and helpful, front desk, bell services, food court, housekeepers etc and I had a really nice chat with the man who clears up towels etc around the Trinidad pool. Transport options: The Skyliner was a massive bonus for a fun and quick way to get to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. We loved using this and it was a ride in itself with beautiful views. We found buses were frequent and easy to use to the other two parks and Disney Springs/ Typhoon Lagoon. We rope dropped Animal Kingdom using the bus one day with no difficulties and went to Magic Kingdom often later in the day and stayed until fireworks/ the evening and buses were always frequent to and from the park/ resort. Sometimes had to stand but the journey didn’t take long and we always got on. The only bad journey we had was after H20 Glow after hours party at Typhoon where we had got caught in a massive downpour when we first got there and all our stuff/clothes got wet/ stayed wet. Having to change bus at Disney Springs and have two very cold bus journeys home in the dark with tired kids wasn’t fun. The journey took ages too we think because the roads were extra busy as the Drone show started that night at Springs. As a bonus we did get to see some of it at Typhoon Lagoon though! The Room/Trinidad We booked a standard view 5th sleeper. We had requested on the MDE app and via our travel agent that we ideally have an upstairs room, in a quiet section with no interconnecting door. Our son has some Special Needs and we wanted somewhere quiet after long and overstimulating park days. We asked to be near skyliner and b

This hotel gets a lot of hate but we loved it! We stayed 2 weeks in a water/pool view 5th sleeper. I Requested an Under The Sea room in Trinidad and was thrilled to get the best location! We were in 3660 and we could see Spyglass Grill, the Trinidad Pool, the skyliner and the bus stop! I actually thought this was a perfect location as the skyliner was 5 mins walk, everything else was on our doorstep and we were away from the hustle and bustle of Old Port Royale. We loved the room, tonnes of storage to unpack for a fortnight. Double sink was so handy - I want one at home 🤣 This is my 4th time to Florida and I’ve never stayed on site before. But with car hire and parking costs and the fact we were just doing WDW and the dining credit offer it didn’t make sense to do anything else. My husband would only stay on site if it were distinctly not Disney themed 🤣 and we wanted a 3rd bed so kids didn’t have to share - CBR was perfect. Room decor was lovely clean and fresh, and the pull down beds were a game changer to save space in the daytime, easy to set up at night. People complain about CBR being too big, I think this would only be the case if you had severe mobility problems or just don’t like to walk. We walked everywhere, and top to bottom is 10 mins at a leisurely pace. The setting is beautiful, it’s so peaceful and when visiting some of the deluxe tower style hotels they felt chaotic and busy so we were glad to be in the spread out quiet of CBR. We used the Trinidad pool more than the main pool as that was a 5 min walk and constantly very busy. Both Pools were so warm in the 100 degree heat neither felt particularly refreshing tbh. We loved all the QS food we had and it has some lovely Caribbean non fast food options. There’s a Joffreys next to the Skyliner to get full range of coffee, we found the pods in the room ghastly but the filter coffee at Spyglass was better so filled up there in the morning. The refillable cups were such good value and we even managed to sneak refills in some places in the parks 🤫 Overall we said we absolutely would come and stay here again, the skyliner is a game changer and basically our favourite activity of the whole trip! I could never stay anywhere now where it was bus only. The temps were too hot for us really but I’m hoping for Feb half term 2026, and Tokyo next year 💙

This review aims to share all the key things a family would be wanting to know about our stay. - May 27th 2024 - Family 6. 11, 39, 42 - were from the uk - our youngest child has Autism The room - we had a preferred room which was exceptionally well located adjacent all the key facilities (Barbados we stayed in) - for a family of four the rooms are small and dated esp small for a family of four - the beds and pillows we’re comfortable - the room was clean - the air conditioning was our big issue, it was utterly terrible, it was so loud that the family couldn’t sleep with it on, we had to turn it off but you could still hear next doors. It then got too hot in the room without it on ….it was a massive problem for us. So much so we had to request a resort move after the first day. This may not be an issue for everyone but I even had to wear noise cancelling headphones to even nearly attempt to sleep. - the hotel did transfer us to another resort which was miles better. This was done without much fuss which was grateful and a relief The hotel - the hotel is clean, tidy , attractive, well maintained - the transport links including the skyline are amazing, this quite frankly is what you pay the big money for - most of the staff were very helpful and polite The facilities - pool is lovely but it is a lot smaller than it looks - eateries and other facilities are nice - food variety was ok but nothing special Extra cool things - MAGICAL MOMENTS are so so cool, we got to experience two of them. I won’t spoil the fun but there are different ones around. We lucked out and they were absolutely fantastic TOP TIP - we got groceries delivered straight to the hotel so all snacks and drinks we didn’t have to pay for. It saved us an absolute fortune. We took a large cool bag into the park each day with resealable bags full of resort ice to cool drinks and snacks. We didn’t pay for drinks in the park either. The ice you get for free dispensed at your hotel.

My daughter and I are frequent visitors for our girls trip to Disney. The Caribbean Beach Resort is the one we have stayed at twice because of the Skyline and the location to Epcot. We have gone different times a year, and often in May. This trip the weather was Hot and we utilized the resort more than the parks during the day. Cast members are wonderful. Food at the resort has limited options and honestly not very good. The room was clean and AC was working but you could not move lower than 68. The unit is loud but once we cooled down the room was comfortable. Grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We bought the extra extended event pass for Epcot from 10pm-1am and would definitely take advantage of that in the future. Less crowds, comfortable temps, and seeing the park up close lit up was a new experience. Only complaint is that even though the app said transportation would be operating 60 min after event and park closed. At Midnight all transportation was closed. We walked to the Beach Club Resort from Epcot and called an Uber. There were several other families that were left stranded and confused. Also, the Genie + is not worth the money if you are going into the park after 5pm. We purchased in hopes to get on the main attractions in the park and as soon as we purchased the attraction(s)would be no longer available. Overall great trip, and the resort is highly recommended.

The resort was very nice. We we were in Aruba close to 2 pools and the walkway to the restaurants and the main pool. We had an awesome view overlooking the lake. The room was nice however the beds weren’t very comfortable. Close to the Skyliner and buses. My only complaint is that the food at the resort was mediocre at best. Very expensive for what you get. Very limited menu. Being a Disney resort I would expect much better food and more variety.

We are frequent visitors to WDW and have stayed at most of the on-site resorts. Our last stay at this property was before the Skyliner was built. Every Disney resort has its pros and cons. Pros: Bus service to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom and Skyliner service to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT (most moderates have only bus transportation). Multiple dining options on site. Multiple pools, including an active pool with music, slides, etc. near the lobby and multiple quiet pools at each village. Beautiful landscaping and a great tropical atmosphere. Also access to nearby resorts including Pop Century, Art of Animation and Rivera. Cons: This resort is enormous and depending on which building you are assigned (and you don't get to pick), you may have a long walk to the lobby or the Skyliner. The resort has multiple bus stops and the bus may fill up before your stop or if you're the first stop you have to stop at all of the other bus stops before heading to the parks. The Skyliner may shut down for high winds or storms. The buildings don't have elevators and despite recent cosmetic updates the hotel rooms are "old school" rooms with outdated tub/showers and radiator style A/C units that are loud when operating. Overall, we were happy with our stay at this resort. We were lucky to get a room in Aruba and often used the Rivera Skyliner and bus stations. The cast members were excellent!! Everyone we encountered went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The Bell Services staff were especially helpful with helping us figure out what happened to our missing grocery order. I would recommend this resort as a good choice in the moderate category.

Beautiful resort. Enjoyed the pool and walking around. The food court had tasty meals but the menu could be a little more varied. All staff were very friendly. Having the Skyliner made visits to Epcot and Hollywood easy and quick. The bus service to the other parks was great as well. Second time staying at this resort,

Convenient to Disney, love the skyliner . Rooms and beds were terrific, even have a mini Murphy bed. The folks here are really nice and helpful. This is worth the extra cost. Regular pool close to our room and a huge features type pool at the main building….included cool slides and kiddy area.

This hotel capitalizes off the Disney name but it a total rip off. All you get is a measly 30 min extra in the park after a 20 min crowded bus ride. And the 30 min is only for Tomorrowland. It’s total BS. For the amount you pay I would expect better service, better restaurants/food, and housekeeping service!!! They only clean your room every other day. I paid $440/night. I expect daily housekeeping. Like the rest of Disney it’s a total rip off. Either splurge on one of the hotels closer to the park or save your money at a different hotel. I honestly can’t believe this place carries the Disney name.

We stayed here 30th-13th may in a prefered room in block 33, looks like we had a revamped room as it was fresh and clean with solid flooring and new curtains since we last ther 2 years ago. Th small swimming pool had also had new pool furniture and more lounges etc had been added to main pool in there revamp. We loved the location close to bus stop and skyliner its a great base. Th one location I'd say could do with a revamp is the food selection,as we did a tour of some of the other hotels and their selections were better espeecially at the swan where they had a great take away cafe. I found the beds a uncomfortable for me fussy sleeper. Was surprised we only had a sheets changed once in the two week period in 90 degree heat, but towels every two days.

oh how i wish it was like our last visit in 2019 that was incredible the whole experience but wring the review based on a couple of weeks ago would we return highly unlikely. we were in trinidad and felt so far away in some sense it was nice but the walk to the main resort was long and we love a walk usually, we brought magic bands ... they don't stay on one fell off on a ride and one fell off within the hour by the entrance never to be seen again so huge waste of money my daughter was so upset had we known this was an issue we would not have brought in the first place. check in we were offered animal kingdom as they over booked the resort so we agreed only for the lady to say 10 minutes later we couldn't as there was 5 of us even though 5 of us were stood there so felt disappointed to be offered it then it to be taken away. upon entering our room the beds weren't made up only the one bed so we had to ask for more bedding to be brought up to then make them up ourselves (the two other beds) 4 of us got poorly the day we left severe stomach cramps only this 4 of us had was the cooked breakfast our daughter didn't have it and was fine so not a good end to the trip either the resort its self is lovely but didn't have a nice vibe like the last time even the children didn't enjoy it such a shame that the highlight of our previous visit was the disappointment of this visit top tips don't buy the new magic band and if you went pre 2019 don't expect it to be like that the genie plus works but it's another added fee and the dining has really been cut down less for more but positive the skyline is great and works well and it still looks as beautiful as we remembered I think they were just to busy and struggled with the amount of people and it really showed
