Euclid Motel

Bay City|2.74km from city centre
This little, old-fashioned, ”motor-inn,” is by far, the least expensive, and the absolute ”cleanest” motel in Bay City. It is nice and quiet, and you have to worry about being awakened during the middle of the night by police ”visiting” one of your neighbors, unlike another motel. I first was going to stay there several years ago, when my power was out during a winter ice-storm. Just as I was in the process of checking in, the owner says to me, ”Sir...sir. We are getting reports that the power has been restored to certain areas. Why don't you call your neighbors and find out?” So, I did, and he simply cancelled the charge to my card, and wished me well. Now, how many motel owners would turn away a ”paying” customer?! Virtually none, I would venture! So, I made a ”mental note” of his honesty, vowing to myself that I may someday return. It's owned and operated by a husband/wife team from India, along with ”one” housekeeper. He apparently does all the maintenance, while his wife ”man's” the phones and does check-ins. They, and their staff, are very conscientious about the wearing of masks. They are in the process of doing a ”demolition” of their outdoor pool. But the rooms, (and bathrooms,) are very clean. There's a surprisingly large refrigerator w/spacious freezer, a fair-sized microwave w/turntable, as well as a very, small, (one-cup,) coffee-maker, and the a/c is quiet, but works great. They used to offer a ”continental” breakfast,” but have discontinued it dur to Covid-19.

Great location! It's a perfect spot for entertainment. My room was very nice, updated and beautiful view of the bay! Will stay again forsure. Ask for the signature cookies, yummm. You can venture out at night for entertainment or go down to motel bar where there are the nicest bartenders to entertain you! Shopping is not the greatest but Bay City is working on getting the core shopping back and what there is, is SO nice.
Quality Inn & Suites

My husband and I visited the Quality Inn after a day trip to Frankenmuth for a quick honeymoon gets-away. We were so pleased with our stay. The front desk staff was fantastic. Had us cracking up and made check in very smooth. Room was updated and our bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very good. My husband I were impressed especially not knowing what to expect due to our current circumstances. We enjoyed our stay so very much. I accidentally left my electric tooth brush in the room. Housekeeping put it aside and I was able to locate it with the amazing help of the front desk. Then the hotel manager, Stephanie, went to the post office and sent it to me. Are you kidding???? That kind of service is unheard of these days. They went above and beyond. Very impressed with the hotel and all the staff at Quality Inn in Bay City. We will definitely be returning. Price was very reasonable as well! If you are looking to stay in the area, stay here. They are wonderful!
Courtyard Bay City

Stayed here while attending Rock the Boat on the Princess Wenonah. The King bed room was spacious with fridge and coffee maker. The a/c was on the wall and little hard to maintain temperature, but overall not bad. The shower was a big walk-in with good hot water and pressure. The sink counter was large and plenty of towels were provided. The amenities are on the shower wall. The noise level was low - I was on the top floor (4th). I was not thrilled to be near the elevator (I requested away from elevator), but it wasn't too noisy much to my surprise. The only complaint is for the money, no breakfast is included. They do have a small coffee/cafe in the lobby, but I would recommend either Uptown Grill or Live Oak Coffee for breakfast which are located right across the street. The staff was friendly and helpful.
