The hotel is big and super nice The beach was not top I understood that the period was not the best one. In term of foods super nice especially the idea of having dinner à la carte. That changes front thé buffet The animation team is cool and you can not get bored Highly recommend for couples or family

It has been a pleasant stay. The customer service provided by the hotel has been satisfactory in general. The all-inclusive offer could be improved from my point of view. And for that price it could have included the transfer. Improvable facilities, especially the gym, which is not suitable for this hotel, is very small and inaccessible, it seems like a maze to enter. And the spa is also very poor and not even included in the offer of the all-inclusive package with a superior room. When in Spain 90% is included both services, transfer and spa. Great hotel, great chain, but my face of satisfaction for some other things remains indifferent for that reason... The variety in the food buffet was not too much either... it is compensated by the customer service and the environment of virgin beaches. Then a detail is the overweight in terms of street vendors outside and inside the enclosure...even with the massages...

On the first day of my stay, I first checked the toilet of the toilet. The toilet of the toilet was not cleaned and disinfected. I wiped the toilet with toilet paper, and there were yellow urine stains on the toilet paper. The coffee, coffee mate, and sugar in the room are not replaced in time every day. Lack of nightshow.

We stayed at Punta Cana Princess for a week(Sep.28-Oct.4)). My wife and I had an amazing time. Everything was perfect. Amazing staff, very friendly, and they will go over and beyond accommodate you. Miguel at the guest service was fenonenal. Very nice guy, friendly, kind. He was there for us anytime. Beach was spectacular, breathtaking. The food was amazing, too. I am raw vegan, and they had so much variety of fruit and vegetables, and it tastes sooooooo good. Delicious. I felt like I was in paradise. My wife eats everything, and she enjoyed her food as well. The room was very clean, spacious, and updated. Perfect. I highly recommend this resort, and we will be back.

The service at Bahia Principe was really quite good. Friendly workers at the front desk and concierge/transportation kiosk really helped. The facilities at Bahia Principe are not up to snuff however. The room was old and tired- in need of much care. For example, there were five lamps/lights in the room and two had light bulbs out. My wife wanted to read at night but there was not enough lighting in the room to even read a book for 15 minutes. The small fridge never worked. But the ants on the coach took the cake. No, they literally were on the hunt for cake in the room! If you want a really solid looking property then book at Ambar, not Principe. On a positive note the mattress and pillows were comfortable. One other note and seemed very kid friendly... But the property is huge! So huge that many people will want to take the trams to the beach- which was packed and not the best beach in Punta Cana. Later today I will be reviewing the Majestic Colonial which we also stayed in for a week. Want treated like you're a king or queen? Look at the Majestic properties which were worth the extra pesos.

We had an okay trip to DR. The “hotel” is more like apartments, and people do seem to live here actually also. The rooftop pool is so awesome, and literally the best part of the place. The room is clean, but we killed probably 4-5 cockroaches in the room. Stove was all rusty. When arriving, the door didn’t lock & we were 2 women in their early 20s who are both ＞ 130lbs. When requesting a new room, they “fixed” the door and refused to give us a new room. Scary location - we didn’t feel safe walking around at night here as women. Also, were scammed by a very nearby restaurant called “Bohio Punta Cana”. Free breakfast was awesome. No conditioner, only shampoo and “gel”? No hand soap. The shower seems to be salt water. I would honestly recommend staying on a resort if you come to DR, otherwise you might never want to come back.

We had an amazing stay at this location. Plenty of parking, with 24 hour security and private gated entrance. The breakfast is absolutely great!! I will definitely return! The heated pool is so relaxing with the outside bar area and restaurant. Rosa and Alvaro were very attentive and professional.

My review is extremely delayed, but I finally got around to posting since we are considering returning. The reasons for giving 4 stars instead of 5 are: 1. Our first room had an electricity issue our first night. We were just finishing unpacking and starting to relax and the power went out. It seemingly only impacted our room! We contacted the butler and he sent someone. They tinkered in the breaker box and told us we were good to go. Then the lights went out again a few minutes later!!! We had to pack everything up and move around the corner to a new room. Our butler helped us and it was fine, but annoying and not a good first impression. 2. I have Celiac Disease and the staff is NOT very knowledgeable about gluten. I received a paper from our butler that said I could not eat gluten or dairy. I'm not sure if their cheese has gluten or if they just have one blanketed allergy statement or WHAT, but I can (and prefer to) eat cheese lol. 3. The big slides were closed for construction during our stay and we had no idea until we got there. 4. The bartenders stir the drinks that contain soda, so they are BEYOND FLAT. I didn't realize this until our stay was almost over or I would have asked them not to...just not sure if they would have listened or understood. The GOOD: 1. Our butler, Luis, was very friendly and our 8 year old son really enjoyed chatting with him. He was always responsive and even answered us when he wasn't at work! 2. Beans: my husband loved the coffee options and my son loved the ice cream! 3. The access to both resorts is a definite benefit. The Punta Cana side is definitely nicer, but for the cost savings, it is worth booking Splash with Diamond Club and taking advantage of everything on both sides.

Overall a great experience. My boyfriend and I went here as our first time flying out of the country. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Out of the entire resort we only came across one staff member who wasn’t the best. We would recommend this resort to anyone! The staff here is always happy and having a good time with the guests. The only negative is that the buffet food isn’t my absolute favorite but I am a picky eater and still found things to eat. Another negative is the guests who come to Punta Cana are mostly from Europe so there is a lot of smoking but that will happen at any resort, and the resort is not adults only although the only time children were noticeable to us were at the main pool. If you stay in the swim up bar pool or on the beach children aren’t that noticeable. The night time entertainment is geared towards children earlier on (before 8:30 i’d say) and then after that it becomes more dancing and singing for the adults. The resort was very clean and easy to navigate between the map you’re given upon check in and their app. Through the RIU app we were able to request more towels, room service, sheets changed, etc, all while at the pool or beach. At this resort you get a little bit of everything! I would compare this resort to a cruise on land. It’s very big with lots to do and see and you won’t regret staying here.
