This hotel is tranquil without the huzzle and buzzle of the others. The employees are all very kind and helpful. Although the rooms are ok, they need an uplift since there were various things not working properly (eg. Jacucci faucet, shower door do not close appropriately and the floor in front of it was always very wet after taking a bath, the sliding door to the balcony was very hard to move). The food in the restaurants is good but the wait was little longer than expected. Overall, this is a nice place and the exterior gardens and the beach are awesome!

I love staying at garden suites but the buffet is to small and the staff here doesn’t understand English very well.

Staff and service were excellent. The property and rooms could use some deep cleaning/updating. Room had multiple wet spots on the floor from leaks/condensation from ceiling. This made the tile floor very slippery. There were areas in the room that were dirty from past guests, especially around the toilet. We did receive prompt housekeeping each day but were not consistently left with sheets to cover the comforter (and were questioning if the comforters were cleaned btwn guests). Had issues with toilet flushing and did not have a warm shower our entire stay. The room itself was huge, loved the balcony, outside jacuzzi and the two sink setup for bathroom and changing room
Check in went quick and smooth for group of over 20 showing up at once.
We were greeted with an anniversary cake and other party in our group received champagne for honeymoon, both were appreciated touches.
Received great service during our stay from the Gabi bar staff- Wilkin, Orquidia, Ivelise, Joana (unsure on exact spelling for names).
It was confusing at times which parts of the beach we could use and what restaurants we could eat at outside of the garden suites on the complex. Received somewhat conflicting information from staff when trying to clarify. Because of this, dining options were somewhat limited.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay for 5 nights and felt it was a good value for the price paid. The property has the potential to be gorgeous again with the right attention to detail/upkeep.

Pros: the property is big, pretty (green spaces) and well kept. The room I stayed in was very spacious (I was traveling alone) the large balcony had a nice garden view and included an outdoor tub. FYI the bed is big enough to accommodates a couple w/2 small children. Beach is within 7-8min walking distance however there's constantly a shuttle going in/out for your convenience.
Cons: main buffet area: food needs improvement. Some items did not taste as fresh. Lack of variety (compared to some other hotels/resort buffets). There are only 3 other options (restaurants/food locations) to choose from if you want move away from the buffet.
I booked through ******* (package). Pick up @ airport went ok but departure was not planned properly: no email/text communication from agency even after providing my personal info no butler attention during my stay (included).

We absolutely loved this property. The hotel staff greeted us upon our arrival and went up and beyond my expectations. They surprised my husband for his birthday with a balloon bouquet and birthday cake in our room!! The food was delicious as were the drinks. We played a round of golf at the Cocotel course which was very nice.We enjoyed our stay very very much and we’ll definitely return.

This hotel was overall very very nice. The staff was very kind, sweet, knowledgeable, helped with all of your needs. We didn’t have to wait for tables, drinks, or any other service. They even came to the pool and offered drinks. The rooms were very nice and clean and big. The ocean was also very clean and beautiful. We were able to go to the other hotels attached to this one for food and drinks. We really enjoyed sitting at the beach or pool, and having the waiters come to us and ask if we needed anything. The staff Was so nice at all of the restaurants. I did have an issue with my toilet running, I called the room service and they had somebody upstairs within 15 minutes to fix it. I would highly recommend this restaurant. If I had to say anything that was a four-star, I would say the food was just par. The best food was at the steakhouse , or if somebody in the buffet grilled or made you breakfast. We would absolutely stay here again.

Overall the property is clean and private. But the lack of dining options was extremely disappointing. The buffet was tiny, and lacked options for kids.
