The food was horrible but everything else was 5 star. I booked 5 days but checked out after 2 days. The food was so bad. I moved south to Bavarro where the food was excellent

Staff were amazing everything thank you so much for an amazing week my kids loved it they had an amazing time food was a hit or miss but that’s to be expected in all honesty I’ve never had 10/10 food at a resort but there pizza bar 10/10 drinks 10/10 staff with the kids 10/10 even celebrated me and my finances engagement they were above and beyond

Our initial rooms were in poor conditions - leakage from bathroom roof, molds found in sink/showers, dirty sheets, found cockroaches & lizards… We requested to be moved and thankfully our concierge, Francia made it happen by the next day and helped us through - she ensured our stay afterwards was much better and was keeping us in the loop of hotel activities, etc. Staff were friendly and always in high, smiling, spirits.

The pool area and beach were very nice. Towels ran out quickly and were not replenished. Food was very poor quality. Fitness center only had one working treadmill. Sliding glass door in room didn’t slide easily. This was reported to concierge and they sent someone. First time the person came when we were not in the room. Second time the person came when my son was in the bathroom. When we checked in, we were not provided room keys, only towel keys. Property needs a lot of updates.

Hotel bathrooms are old, rusty pipes. Shower tub combo is too small. Handrail in bathtub makes it difficult to shower. Toilet flooded then wouldn't flush . Disappointing. We changed rooms Looked at 3 other rooms the rooms smell musty, moldy and one smells like gas fumes.

The food was not good. Most of the staff didnt speak enough English to understand anything beyond the few usual words such as beer, water, Coke, etc. For example, we asked for salt and pepper and they brought us Salsa. There were NO shells on the beach! I have never been to a beach where there are no shells. So strange. We were bored and ready to leave about the 3rd day and still had 3 more days. A pool table, games, some entertainment would have been nice. If you are just wanting unlimited alcohol for a cheap stay, this may work for you, but if you are a foodi or want some entertainment, I would pick another resort.
