Paradisus Punta Cana Resort All Inclusive

This was truely a "five-star" vacation. Most people will only write a review within a few weeks of their vacation. Ours was 6 month ago and I still want to recommend this resort. Wonderful service, friendly staff, good food, awesome selection of restaurants and a great beach. Could not have asked for any better place. My wife and I HIGHLY recommend it.

We spent several days at the Paradisus, Punta Cana, and it was by far the best vacation experience we have ever had. The food and service were outstanding, the rooms were inviting and luxurious and the pools and private beaches were a tropical delight. We will return again and again!

Gorgeous, well maintaned resort. Did the Royal Service which was a "pamering" experience. Had our own private beach with our own waiter to bring us drinks and fruit. We had the place to ourselves so we had excellent service by all of the staff. The bar staff was superb. I want to give special thanks to Jorgeluis Vilorio Ramirez & Lorenzo Tejada who knew my drink preference from the 1st night and answered all my questions about the resort and town.They were great! I would definitely go back!

The resort is gorgeous and the service is exceptional. We were in the junior executive suites with a swimming pool and a bar. Blue Agave is an amazing restaurant with great food and even better service. Antonio, our concierge, by far exceeded our expectations. He made sure every little detail was covered and that we were happy all the time. His customer service is unmatched.

I stayed at Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana for my honeymoon, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing resort experiences I’ve ever had—especially given the price point of $500–600 per night for an oceanfront room in the “Adult Reserve” section. Service: Despite tipping generously and being polite and respectful (I work in the service industry myself), the service was consistently poor. Requests were often met with indifference, and attention to detail was lacking. A good example: I asked for extra bread, and what was brought out was cold and literally stale. Food & Drinks: The food quality was abysmal for a resort in this price range. Most meals were cold, flavorless, or stale. Room service was no better—the food always arrived cold. The coffee was shockingly bad; they were unable to make basic coffee drinks properly. The only decent meal was at the steakhouse; every other dining experience was disappointing. Rooms & Amenities: For one of their nicest oceanfront rooms, the experience fell far short of expectations. The A/C never properly cooled the room. The mini-fridge barely worked, which is unacceptable in a tropical climate. Room service food was cold and unappealing. Even the recreational amenities were neglected: there was only one pool cue for the entire pool table, and it didn’t even have a felt tip. Overall Value: This was supposed to be a special trip—our honeymoon—and instead it was frustrating, uncomfortable, and disappointing. For the price, I expected at least reliable service, fresh food, and working amenities. Instead, it felt like the resort is cutting corners everywhere. Bottom Line: The resort’s location is beautiful, but everything else—from service, to food, to room comfort—was far below standard. If you’re considering this property, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. There are better-managed resorts in Punta Cana that deliver far more for the same price.
