We liked the calm, the bedding, the spacious bedroom and bathroom, the charm of the castle, the well-stocked breakfast and a special mention for the kindness of the staff. We walked in the park and came across a few deer!

In this case it’s not castle life! Nothing warm, cold atmosphere, non-existent welcome. Quite a strange place, little charm except the staircase which opens onto the reception, the rest with sanitized corridors, aging reading corners, poorly equipped kitchen areas and poorly soundproofed rooms is rather surprising. It reminds us of a place that would have once served as a summer camp. I would like to correct what some previous comments said: the breakfast is not up to par at all, nothing homemade or gourmet apart from the pain au chocolat which seems fresh.

If you're looking for the castle experience, go elsewhere. The exterior is beautiful, but the interior is modern, sanitized, dirty (e.g. electric curtain, dust and cobwebs in common areas, etc.). Room 14 is the worst: access is via a summer camp kitchen, two tiles provide light in the room, forget sleeping in the dark! Room not soundproof, so pray people are quiet. In the room, the linoleum and tiles have seen better days, the bathroom is poorly lit, the lights around the mirror do not work, the shower heads are covered in limescale, the bathtub joints are scary, the The bathroom tile joints are piss yellow when it's not black with mold... well, remember to take shower gel and shampoo, nothing is provided. We had a pleasant stay in this beautiful castle, which has been renovated and brought up to current standards. Our room was over 40m² for the two of us. The decoration is excellent and very tasteful. As for the staff, they are very friendly and very efficient.
