"If you want to experience the Nepalese style, this is a very good choice because it feels like living in an ancient monument. The equipment in the room has been tidied and the comfort is very good. The hotel is near the Great Pagoda, about a 15-minute walk away, so you can have a quick look at the city."
"When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that the room was full, so we booked another hotel nearby. The owner took us to another hotel nearby and helped us with our luggage. The service was very good."

"Things left the room to find the front desk, the front desk does not matter if you contact the cleaning waiter, how do I know who is cleaning? Later, I found it through Ctrip pressure. Here is a compliment to the Ctrip housekeeper!"

"The room is a bit small. But the equipment is complete and the lighting is sufficient. Hot water is enough. At the location, it took 20 minutes to walk to the stupa. The hotel is on the slope of a residential area. The master who hits is looking for about 10 minutes. The breakfast is sufficient, but it is a Western breakfast."
"This is a hotel with a nice view of the Himalaya peaks on a good day with breakfast and a good day with a view of the Stupa on the roof of the hotel in the morning. Right in front of Stupa. The location is very good for 30 seconds walk and it is also a good memory to wake up at dawn and participate in the procession of praying around the stupa.
The hotel service was solved immediately and the manager had experience working in Korea, so I was able to stay more comfortable because I was fluent in Korean.
Nepal has not many air conditioned rooms, so check when booking.
I stayed in a room with air conditioning for 6 days and it was very comfortable.
There was a living room and the bathroom was spacious, so I felt like staying in a small apartment.
Good location, convenient service at an affordable price. It was a very good hostel including breakfast"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous. From the moment we arrived, till the time we left, they gave us fantastic service. The only reason we gave the less than 5 stars on the cleanliness is not entirely their fault as Kathmandu although amazing and wonderful, it is a quite a dusty place from all the roads. The location was fantastic as it was in close walking distance to the famous Stupa, incredibly delicious restaurants, and tons of shopping. Also close to the airport and the city center. I would definitely stay there again."
"About 8 minutes walk from Buddha Stupa खास्ति चैत्य
Sound insulation is not good. Living on the first floor, I clearly heard the phone ringing at the front desk outside and the conversation. The sandy windows in the bathing location are connected to the public balcony. ... The storage water heater is only enough to wash the hair once. The waiter is so enthusiastic. A little over. The summary is not recommended."

Amazing
GGuest UserI recently stayed at Hotel Anuttara in Nepal and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. My room was clean and well-equipped, providing all the essentials for a comfortable visit. The hotel’s restaurant offered a diverse menu with tasty local dishes. Its convenient location made it easy to access shopping and dining options nearby. Although not a retreat, the lively atmosphere added to the experience, making it ideal for travelers wanting to immerse themselves in the local culture. I highly recommend Hotel Anuttara for anyone visiting the area!
Sserene kuehGreat location near to Buddha stupa. Staff is friendly and provide great service. Great view at roof top and food is delicious. Will stay here again next trip.
GGuest UserWe spend 4 days at Lavie hotel and we enjoyed our stay. Allthough the road is quite busy, after 10pm the traffic slows down heavily and the traffic noise disappears. We went several times to the early morning walking ceremony around Bouddhanath Stupa which is only a 10min walk from the hotel.
The staff is great and we would like to thank Ms. Dawa in particular for her great support. She helped us to buy tickets for a local music festival and supported my wife when she didn’t feel comfortable. Thanks, Dawa!
GGuest UserStayed for a few days, looks like this hotel just had a renovation ( everything) is new and clean
The staff was very help full and friendly
The room which i stayed in was perfectly clean and new bedsheets and towels were provided it also had a balcony;)
City centre is like 35 min walking and by car/bike 10min.
Will definitely book this hotel again when i visit Kathmandu.
YYinduJusyogajiashiyujiaFacilities: This is a new hotel in 2025, the facilities are relatively new, but they are tasteless.
The restaurant is on the top floor, actually on the 6th floor, but the sun is shining brightly in the restaurant and you can overlook Kathmandu, which is very comfortable 😌
The food in the restaurant is delicious! The price is reasonable too!
Environment: There is a road under construction outside the hotel, but it will be completed soon. However, the location of the hotel is good, not far from the Boudhanath Pagoda, about ten to twenty minutes' walk. The hotel is also close to the airport, very convenient.
Hygiene: Clean and sanitary, solar energy ⚡️Convenient for bathing
Service: The service was excellent! Very good attitude! From the boss to the employees, everyone is very nice! My friend forgot his credit card at the front desk when he left, and the boss drove him out! The boss can also help book a car to the airport ~ In short, it's all very good
GGuest UserWe had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel for a total of 6 nights, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed an authentic and warm hospitality that made us feel truly at home. Their genuine friendliness and willingness to assist with every request went above and beyond our expectations.
One of the highlights of our stay was the remarkable cleanliness and tranquility of our room. It was evident that great care was taken to ensure a pristine environment, allowing us to relax and unwind in utmost comfort. The icing on the cake was the superb internet reception, which allowed us to stay connected seamlessly throughout our stay.
Our stay was punctuated by delightful mornings indulging in an exquisite breakfast spread. The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight!
The hotel's al fresco dining experience was an absolute treat. The ambiance was charming, and the food left an indelible mark on our taste buds. With each meal, we explored a plethora of different dishes, each more tantalizing than the last. It's safe to say that the culinary offerings exceeded our expectations in every way.
A noteworthy mention is the hotel's convenient proximity to Boudha Stupa, a mere 10-minute walk away. This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere.
What sets this hotel apart is not only its remarkable amenities and services but also the unique opportunity it offers. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. We highly recommend inquiring about the schedule from the attentive hotel staff – it's an experience that added immeasurable value to our stay.
In summary, our time at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of attentive staff, immaculate rooms, delectable cuisine, and the added touch of free yoga and meditation sessions make this hotel a standout choice for anyone seeking a memorable stay near Boudha Stupa. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to fellow travelers looking for an unforgettable experience.
Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay truly remarkable – we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return!
Tip: Indulge in delightful puri & curry breakfast, relish al fresco dining, rejuvenate with free daily yoga. A tranquil oasis near Boudha Stupa.
Kkuruma139I used to stay in star-rated hotels with a tour group, but this time I was traveling by myself to meditate in Paping, so I searched for this store on Ctrip before going up the mountain, and then went to see it in advance. I was greeted by a beautiful receptionist with a healing smile. Although we couldn't communicate by voice, we were able to communicate clearly using a translation software. After we got down the mountain, we took a taxi directly to this store. It should be called a homestay. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm and pleasant. I booked a garden room. When I went to check in, the guests hadn't left yet, so the handsome guy at the front desk upgraded me to an apartment on the fourth floor. The room was big, with a kitchen and a balcony. There were all kinds of flowers and plants in the yard, and there was a cute cat. Unfortunately, when the cat was drinking water that day, I took a sneak shot of it and scared it. I feel so guilty. I'm sorry, Mimi. This store is a quiet place in the downtown area. It is very close to the Great Pagoda. It takes about three to five minutes to get there through the alley, but the hotel sign is not obvious and is still white. I navigated to that location but didn't find it until I asked a guy at a logistics company at the corner. I plan to go to Nepal again in August. If I stay at the Great Pagoda, I will go to this B&B hotel. I hope I can live in the apartment in Figure 5 by then.
YYAMTAfter returning from Pokhara and Lumbini, I still choose to live by myself. The staff is friendly, the room is clean and hygienic, and I walked to the Great Buddha Pagoda at night. Excellent value for money. This time the room rate also includes breakfast, everything is very good.
SSurajOne of the best bang of buck hotels in boudha area, kathamndu. The receptionist was very nice to give me free upgrade to superior room. Room was very clean spacious and breakfast was good as well. Highly recommended
GGuest UserThere is a garden and the restaurant is also in the garden. The single bed is a little small but very comfortable. There is a terrace facing the garden. Fortunately, it closes at 8 or 9 in the evening, so it becomes very quiet immediately.
