Hudor Resort - Bauang, La Union

Resort is new and nice. The staffs are friendly and courteous. Its good for an overnight stay.

During my recent stay, I found the room to be modern and comfortable. However, a persistent sewer-like odor from the bathroom significantly impacted my experience. Despite running the exhaust fan continuously, the smell remained, causing considerable discomfort and affecting the overall ambiance of the room. The breakfast offerings were limited, likely due to low occupancy at the time, which is understandable. While the quality was satisfactory, the selection left me desiring more variety and flavor. The staff was courteous and accommodated my orders by the pool, though the service was somewhat slow. On a positive note, the cocktail was enjoyable, the pool area provided excellent views, and the beach was delightful. In summary, the unpleasant odor in the bathroom overshadowed what could have been a pleasant stay. Addressing this issue would greatly enhance the guest experience.

very nice and relaxing experience we had with the fam at Hudor. Staffs are nice and rooms are spacious. Good location, too.

Stayed March 7 - March 8 (1 Night) Fresh Luxury Hotel in Bauang, La Union Reception We did not have any reservations and we just walked-in but prior to going there I already coordinated if there are vacant rooms. Lounge area while waiting for the room was very spacious and comfortable. Reception went smoothly and staff was very friendly and welcoming. Rooms Rooms are very spacious and clean. A simple welcome greeting is displayed on the TV and you can also check hotel information through it and I find it convenient. AC was working fine and WiFi Connection inside the room was very stable and fast. Complete toiletries were provided. We got a Deluxe Room with a beach view for a very competitive rate. Amenities This is where you would get your money's worth. For me, this is one of their selling points because not all hotels provide them. This is the first hotel I went to that has a KTV Room. Not only one but three KTV Rooms located on the third floor. All have similar layout and it was spacious. We did not use it though during our stay there. My daughter really loved their Children's Play Area. It was airconditioned, clean and has lot of activities for kids and adults alike. They have various board games, a ball pit and a table tennis table there. Their gym also is airconditioned, spacious and clean. It is located on the 3rd floor facing the beach. So you can literally see the beach and watch the sunset while exercising on the treadmill. Their pool was also recommendable. It is large enough to cater the guests. There are plenty of lounge chairs to use. The pool's water was warm during the evenings so it was a great way to relax even on evenings. Please note that they were using salt water for their pool but it was generally clean and well maintained. Beachfront was also well maintained and waves are more tolerable for swimming. Breakfast We were greeted by a Filipino buffet breakfast in the morning. Choices for the food was plenty. If I remember correctly there were four viands to choose from (Tapa, Scrambled Egg, Fried Bangus, Ilocos Longganisa). Sadly we might be the last group to have breakfast so the scrambled egg was just enough for one person and it was not refilled during the time we ate. Hopefully they can also consider serving hot chocolate for those few people who do not drink coffee. Overall it was filling and a good way to start the day. We enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely stay here again when in La Union. Generally the place is new and fresh and has competitive rates. PS: The sunset here is great and you will get a full and unobstructed view.

Overall experience was pleasant. From the first coordination meeting to the event proper. All concerns were addressed and the staff specially the General Manager and Junior Sales executive were friendly and accomodating (sir thor, mam coleen and mam shero) . There was opportunity to improve on the overall experience in the Hermes Hall specially the the temperature but definitely this can be addressed soon as the hotel is on soft opening. Looking forward to spend more event.
