What a quirky and brilliantly positioned guesthouse! It is right next to the Circus and Royal Crescent- walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff/owners were extremely helpful, the room was clean and it offered everything we needed for a great night away exploring Bath.

Recommended by Rick Steves travel guide, this place did not disappoint. It's in a fancy neighborhood, but a quick walk to the Roman baths, the walking tours, and other sights. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the hot water lasted the duration of my shower. Highly recommended.

I have read all the positive reviews of this property, especially before I booked; and frankly, I don’t understand them. Our room was at the top of the house, a LONG climb, which I knew about. The room was quaint, but in dismal repair. The mattress was old and lumpy, stained chair, bathroom was falling apart, with toilet roll holder coming away from the wall, broken shower head attachment, and sticking shower door. The one bright spot was Edward, the on site manager, who was so pleasant. He helped us with our baggage on the way out. Oh, and the ginger biscuits were delicious! This property is very well located, but not worth the price.

This was such a lovely guest house, very clean, rooms and bathroom great. Tea and coffee, towels and toiletries all supply, would highly recommend . Really reasonable price, definitely would stay again if going to bath on another visit. Also very good location, I would give this a excellent rating
