It was an amazing experience. The hotel was clean and the staff was phenomenal. The only thing was that the main guy at the front desk was not welcoming after many encounters. The breakfast was great too and the bed was extremely comfortable. Do be aware that late checkouts after 12PM will be a charge of 15£, which is not ideal for some travelers. Overall a great stay and an amazing location.

I changed my itinerary temporarily and booked this hotel in a hurry. The taxi fare from the city is about RMB 100. Arriving at the hotel was beyond my expectation. The hotel is a very historical building. It feels a bit like a manor villa of a wealthy family. There is a warm atmosphere of home. For the restaurant, we went to the front desk to make a reservation and they told us that we could only be seated at eight o'clock. It tasted good👍

The hotel is huge! It is located on a small hillside in the outskirts of Bath. The scenery is pleasant. At night, you can overlook the night view of Bath and see the stars. Convenient transportation, the hotel is on the main road to the center of Bath, and the highway from the city is also very close. There is a lot of free parking for self-driving. There are a number of bus lines directly to the city centre of Bath next to the hotel. It is convenient to have buses from morning to night. The hotel is large, with many rooms, clean and comfortable, and soundproof. The rooms are modern and fully equipped, and the mattress pillows are comfortable. The hot and cold water pressure in the bathroom is very stable, and there are many tea and coffee options in the mini bar in the room. The closet has a sense of opening and closing the door, so I thought very carefully. The wireless network is stable and there are many choices for TV stations. Breakfast selection. The service staff was very kind and caring. I will choose to stay at this hotel in the future.

The hotel and room were nice, and the staff mainly helpful and friendly. However, at about 11pm we heard what we thought was the shower in the next door room. There was also knocking on our door. We answered to find a drunk, in just his underpants, URINATING on our door!! The night porter was very helpful and offered another room.
Whilst we understand this event was entirely out of the hotel’s control, it was not even mentioned when we checked out. When we then mentioned that we had been disappointed with our stay, the manager ( who was at the desk and had listened to our conversation up to then) disappeared to his office and left the receptionist to talk with us. That was absolutely unbelievable! We won’t be going back.

The hotel is like a castle, the scenery at the entrance is intoxicating, Bath is still very beautiful, the terrain of the hotel is relatively high, the view is wide, and you can see the pleasant scenery around.
