Travelodge Bath Central Hotel

We stayed here the night before our wedding and rate it very highly. Our room (a family room) was at the back on the first floor and it was spacious, quiet and very clean. The staff helped us out with many things and check in/out was easy. Location is brilliant for a city centre break with restaurants and shops literally outside the door. We will definitely go back!

This hotel was extremely noisy inside and out. Avoid! I barely slept for 2 nights. Drunks and fights outside till 3am. Drunks coming back noisy at 3-4am. Doors banging. Laundry delivery to hotel banging around at 4am. Single glazing and uncomfortable beds. I really can’t say it was enjoyable.

Easy to find. Central to everything. Friendly staff on arrival. The room was very big, with a lovely view. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel as we were meeting others elsewhere. Allowed to leave our bags with the staff on our day of departure, saved us carrying them around city all day. Thank you.

I had an absolutely horrible experience during my 2-night stay. As soon as I opened the door, I was hit with a strong, unpleasant smell—like moisture mixed with something worse. I had to open the window immediately, but even then, the smell lingered throughout the stay. The room was clearly not cleaned properly. I found human hairs all over the place—on the floor, the bed, inside the bathtub, and most disturbingly, inside the shower. The shower gel looked like it had a bloody color, which was very unsettling. The pillow and bedsheets looked yellow and unwashed. After sleeping there, I developed itchy red spots on my scalp that have lasted for four days now. I hope they go away soon. I used to think Travelodge offered decent quality for a good price, especially for short trips. But after this experience, I will never choose Travelodge again—especially the one at Bath Central.

Room was shabby, musty. Curtain broken, was told couldn't be fixed. Noisy, street lights shining in. Unhelpful workers

Do not stay here as its so dirty, the bathroom is disgusting with thick black hair in the plug hole, blood spots on the wall, toilet very dirty and the bedroom is not much better, no chance of a good night's sleep because of fighting outside of our window all night
