Although the location is far away from the city center, the environment is quiet and the interior layout is elegant and clean. Although the room is small, the windows are bright and clear, and the scenery outside the window is beautiful. The breakfast is rich, with many options and delicious taste. recommend!

There are no blinds and no blackout curtains. I can't sleep when there is light. I can't get used to it. I only slept for five hours. People talking in the corridor are quite noisy.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel 10 times, and as it was our Pearl anniversary we wanted to celebrate in style by spending 4 nights at our favourite place. It was the first time staying in the hotel since being taken over with the name change from Villa Magdala to the Roseate. We arrived early and had a friendly greeting from the reception who took our bag, leaving us time to explore Bath. The room we were given was room 4 which is situated directly above the breakfast room/bar. The room itself was very pleasant but my first tip is that if you like an early night, request another room. You can hear all the conversations from the reception and the bar which can get a bit frustrating when you're ready to turn out for the night. I did feel that the personal touches that have made this hotel heads and shoulders above the rest seemed to be lacking to previous visits. As mrentioned earlier the staff on reception were excellent but housekeeping needs some reviewing. Three days running items were forgotten or not replaced which became a little frustrating. Luckily when we left we also were asked to check the bill which I'm glad we did as a bar item was included by mistake. Don't get me wrong this is a beautiful hotel in a fab part of Bath and attentive staff for the most part. Next time we visit we'll ask for top floor room and away from the bar area.

Had a wonderful vegan cream tea. Beautifully arranged, wonderful fresh tastes, just the right quantity & beautiful sunshine to sit outside. Staff serving us were pleasant & very professional. Thank you. Would highly recommend this venue for Afternoon Tea.

We had afternoon tea at the Roseate Villa Bath as part of a hen do weekend for my daughter. We have experienced quite a few afternoon teas over the years but the food at the Roseate Villa was the best we have had. Delicious sandwiches with different fillings to the usual ham and egg and cheese, lovely scones and tasty cake selection. A wide choice of different teas was also available. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. She couldn’t do enough for us. I would highly recommend afternoon tea here if you are in Bath. 5 stars.

Just visited the Roseate Hotel for the 1st time located in Bath. Absolutely beautiful Boutique Hotel with amazing staff who all work extremely hard to ensure guests have a wonderful time. Shout out to Dee who checked my family in yesterday for our daughters 30th Birthday stay. Dee was soooo lovely. One of the nicest hotel staff I have ever met. Fantastic to meet Christina the new manager who was very good in ensuring my daughter celebrated her 30th Birthday. There was also another gentleman who served us breakfast. Well done to all the Team. Christina is an EXCELLENT Manager!! Will certainly be coming back!!

We stayed at this very charming, stylish boutique hotel for 2 nights recently and were very impressed. It is right in the heart of Bath, so very conveniently situated for the main attractions, and the staff were unfailingly helpful and courteous. The room we were allocated was very comfortable and well-equipped, and the breakfasts hearty and generous. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
