Its meant to be a luxury-ish short weekend getaways before my job starts as my partner can't take a long leave. The delux double room is a huge disappointmemt.Understably, it is a very premium location and other guest probably pay a lot more. However, I wouldn't think of paying over £300 to get a room feeling like a old day servant's room. Being placed at the roof extension room with the view mostly blocked, the floor makes the typical old wooden cracking noise as we walk. The curtain, carpet and bathroom are not in the best condition. The glass on top of the table and desk are not well fitted. Another thing is that, without any previous notice, the spa closed foe maintenance the morning we leave. The fake plants make it look less luxury than its branded. The plus side, it is kind of inclusive which the spa pool, gym and breakfast are included. The breakfast is quite nice if you like English breakfast or they have some basic buffet.

The rooms in the main building are beautiful. A rare view. The restaurant is understaffed and the waiting time for breakfast is too long. If you don't rush, it will take at least an hour. Martin, the concierge, is very good. He helped us find a restaurant because most of the restaurants are closed on weekends. He also drove us there because he was afraid that we didn't know the mountain roads in Bath. The two restaurants he recommended are very delicious and trustworthy.

The waiting area for check-in is very British and beautiful. We booked a classic room, which requires us to walk through the main building, pass the garden, and come to the second floor of a stable. The room is clean and the toilet is relatively large. But the location is a bit disappointing. The high price and high positioning of the hotel make us automatically assume that the view of the room will be particularly good, overlooking the city of Bath. The actual situation is disappointing. Looking out is the street view on the other side, and I dare not open the window. The pure British white old man helps you carry the luggage, making you feel embarrassed not to tip. The restaurant is very delicious, and the cauliflower is especially delicious. In this place, you have to keep communicating and making requests. They can do better.

Great location, up the hill and easy walk from the attractions. Make sure to meet Alfie the cat .. somewhat of a celebrity at the hotel here. Wonderful garden area behind the hotel (part of the grounds), a historic building (be sure to visit the museum attached to the building). We we're up on the 3rd floor with nice garden views, you must get a good view of Bath from the other side too. Free valet parking and a nice breakfast in the 'garden' as well as a spa and indoor pool.

Fantastic couple of days at this amazing hotel for our wedding anniversary. The room was beautiful and all the staff really helpful and friendly. We ate in the hotel one night and the service was impeccable and we were recommended an incredible wine we hadn’t had before. Can’t wait to go back again.

After a very rainy (but great!) day walking around Bath, we stopped off here for teas and coffee. The service was exceptional, the prices of drinks reasonable and surroundings beautiful - both the restaurant and the views of the back of The Royal Crescent.
