After reviewing the photos, descriptions and reading many great reviews about this hotel, we decided to call and make reservations for a family weekend escapade. They responded via WhatsApp, we made reservations and they required pre-payment and we proceeded. Once we arrived the place is NOT what appeared to be, it's more like a house on the outside part of town transformed into a hostal with no parking. We checked in and they took us to our rooms and between the bad smell, the darkness of the rooms (even the ceiling is painted white), with a "fake" window blocked on the outside with a wall, it immediately caused claustrophobia to all of us. Very very very unpleasant experience. We stayed there for less than 5 minutes until we decided we simply could not stay there, we reported our unhappiness and discomfort to the reservation person and proceeded to check out and went out to look for another hotel in town. To top if off, they said they WILL NOT refund my pre-payment, based on the excuse that we checked into these rooms. Obviously, we needed to check in first in order to enter the rooms to experience them. We spoke to them and explained the entire situation, indicating that we trusted them when we prepaid, and now when the hotel turns out to be a nightmare they're not refunding our money! That's simply dishonest and very upsetting. Last conversation we had with they they offered a credit to stay there at a later date, obviously that's never going to happen, we will NOT stay there ever, so that offer is simply full of ****. Very disturbing way of doing business, very smelly, dark and unpleasant rooms, at least of us (party of 5 and prepaid 3 rooms) we could NOT stay more than 5 minutes before nausea. Stay away from this place.
